"I bought this dress in a size 0 i eggplant, i am 5' 3'' and 95 pounds i absolutely love it it is so cute! As everyone is saying though, it is EXTREMELY short. I can manage to wear it without any pants or shorts on underneath, but not if it's windy or i'll be running around. But my cousin borrowed it and wore shorts underneath and it's still just as cute and the detail is very nice and i have received a lot of complements on it!"

"This flirty little cotton dress is absolutely gorgeous in white. It does seem to run at least a size small in the chest. I have a size 34C chest and sized up to a size 10 (only size left in the store). With a bra, the chest area is still a little tight. And as the other reviewers mentioned, the length is quite short. I am very excited to wear this dress over my swim suits on an upcoming beach vacation. I essentially never wear dresses, but this one was just too adorable to pass up. The embroidered love birds are vibrant and beautiful. And the seaming down the waist is comfortable and flattering, lightly skimming a narrow waist (more so than the website photos show). The under lining is certainly necessary, but even still, nude colored underwear (or a swimsuit you want to show off) will be necessary. The flirty skirt has a bit more volume than I wanted, so I will likely alter the seams on the side to take a little material out. The straps are perfect and allows the dress to either have straps crossing in the back (my favorite) or normal spaghetti straps. Overall I absolutely adore this dress and highly recommend it."

"I received this dress in the eggplant color. It's really, really adorable on. I listened to some of the other reviews and bought one size larger than what I usually wear and it fits great. I'm 5'3" and the length is perfect. I love it!"

My favourite dress ever!

"I've wanted this dress since March, as soon as I saw it I fell in love with the embroidery and the style! I'm from the UK and this dress isn't sold in shops over here (and I'd rather not pay the shipping fees to buy from the website), so I desperately looked on every other clothes site I could think of to find one similar, nothing even came close, this is such a unique dress. Fortunately I was in New York last week and it was on sale, and I was not disappointed! It fits perfectly, I'm only 5'2" but I thought the length was perfect. I'm a size 4/6 and the shape of the dress was flattering - it does flare out at the hips as another reviewer said, but it's so tight at the waist that it just emphasises curves. I'm a size 34C chest and the bodice also fits well and I can comfortably wear this without a bra.

I've worn this dress so much since I bought it; to a BBQ, shopping, clubbing, it's so versatile and I've received compliments every time I've worn it. My only regret is that I didn't buy it in white as well!

Free people, PLEASE open some boutiques in the UK!"
