"ok srsly freepeople your clothes are super cute and unique--if a bit pricey--but your sizes couldn't be more inconsistent! Your size small in this vest was comparable to a large whereas another top I also purchased via mailorder was a 2 and I couldn't even lift my arms in it! Buyers beware and be sure to size down. If you alternate between an XS and S like me, then unfortunately you are outta luck with this one :("

"I am trying to like this vest, but I am having a hard time incorporating it into my wardrobe. I purchased the gray color. I wore it layered over a long sleeved sweater and it looked nice, but when worn with a tank top it made me look pregnant! I don't know if I got a size too large or what. I'm still going to try and wear it with some different tanks and see how that looks."

"I'm in love with this vest. This is a fantastic layering piece. It's just distressed enough to give it a nice vintage/whimsical vibe without looking cheesy or forced. If you're into the magical bohemian indian princess look you really can't go wrong with this vest. It will look so fun and amazing with your crystals, feathers, wooden beads, leather and brushed gold accessories! As others have mentioned, it is a little loose/low cut but still fits great. LOVE IT!! Buy it."

"This little vest is adorable! It is cut shorter in the front, so does not appear maternity at all and as per most free people items, the fabric is so high quality that it hangs perfectly in back. It looks cute buttoned up on it's own, layered over another tank or with a sleeveless summer dress. It is so versatile, it will be getting a lot of wear!

"I saw this shirt and immediately fell in love with the berry color. I bought it on the spot and was so excited when I wore it the next day. Unfortunately, I came home to find that the dip-dye stained the white tank I had worn underneath a hot pink, as well as the inside of my ivory jacket (armpits, lower back, all down the sides) I was extremely disappointed, and hoped that it would stop with a few washes. However, it's 4 washes later and the same thing keeps happening. The top is great and I received many compliments on it, but be sure to take precautions before wearing it so you don't end up ruining other items of clothing."

"I bought this in berry in a size Medium which is my normal size. It's loose and flowy. I love it!! If you want to layer it then get your normal size. I would say if you were going to wear it alone then size down. It's adorable, now I just need the gray <3"

"This top is great! You can wear it as a vest with a cute tank underneath or you can wear it buttoned up as a top, either way is cute. I bought a small (my normal size) but I could have gone down a size too. That extra small fit but I found the small had more room and I liked the loose look better."

"I bought this top a couple weeks ago, not knowing it was a vest until I looked at the catalog today. I got it in the berry color, and loved it the moment I tried it on. I wear an XS or S in some tops from FP, but found I had to go with the XS (the vest was too low cut otherwise).
It's great for layering over a solid long-sleeve tee, buttoned or unbuttoned or over a t-shirt or tank.
I highly recommend it!"
