"Reading some of the reviews and recognizing the genie look doesn't work for everyone gave me cause for some pause when considering this purchase. However, upon receiving it, I wish I had purchased both colors because it fits exactly as pictured. I am fairly slim and tall 5'10 who wears a small top and a 29 inch bottom, and it's the cutest outfit I have come across in years. They should make it in more colors, because it certainly would be something I would take advantage of--I cannot imagine anyone not looking fantastic in this despite body proportions (provided they don't fall totally out of the top).
Although I don't want to be walking around my neighborhood seeing tons of people wearing this piece, its comfort and sassiness make it a must have piece."

"i totally wasn't a fan of the harem pants until i saw the reviews for this item. so many raved about it, it peaked my interest so i ordered it. what a great buy! it's very comfortable and quite versatile. as a jumpsuit, it can be layered with tanks on top, or with a cardigan over it. on its own, i think it looks great with a belt."

I have to echo what was said before: these are not for every body type. If you are a curvy girl with ample chest and booty regions, I would stay away from anything that has extra fabric like this- it will not be flattering and may make you look more voluptuous than you really are. However, if you have more of a boyish build, these would work!"

"these pants do not run small- at all. i wear about an 8 and got them in a medium they're a bit roomy but nothing extreme enough to get a small. i bought these pants a while back and i wear them to work constantly, they're extremely edgy when worn as high wasted pants pair them with edgy heels or sandals for two completely different looks and of course don't leave out the belt. around your hips is a bit on the hobo genie side of things but not in a bad way- it's not a look i wear to work but it's way cute for errands, i don't know how anyone could hate on a pair of pants that are so versatile. if you have an eye for fashion you will constantly be coming up with new ways to wear this with your outfit."

"After reading the reviews, I was so curious how the opinions on the harem pants split so went to a fp store to actually try them on. One of the sales girls told me to try 2 different sizes in case I like baggy fit- I am usually a 0 or xsmall in free people and tried both XS and S. When I tried them on, I was amazed how comfortable they were! I ended up getting an XS but actually liked the baggy fit better when I tried a small but the problem was the chest area as other reviews mentioned. Anyways, I am very happy with the purchase since I can imagine myself wearing them a lot in spring and summer, and they are so versatile! By the way, the salesgirl also said that these pants are going so quick so if you want them, hurry up and get them asap!"

"i was very skeptical when i saw these pants- but when i tried it on, it made me look amazing. i got so many compliments whereever i went, and a lot of my friends who thought i would have looked likie mc hammer when i told them i bought this took the thought right back. ypou do have to have a certain body type to pull this off- you definitely cannot be short (im 5'7) and you cannot be super skinny or itll look like a bag on you. im usually a size 8 or 10 in free people, and i had to get a small

"Perfect! The way it fits me is exactly how it look and fits on the models. I was going to get my regualer size but decided to get a size smaller and it fits absolutely lovely. LOL. I think every woman will look good in this harem pants, just fit it to your size and shape. Its really fitted on the top part and loose on the bottom, so belly bulge can be easily hidden while still looking fashionably, and its very comfortable especially if you're a free spirit. LOL."

"First note, get a size below what you usually wear and it'll fit perfectly. Second, this is the most comfortable thing I have put on in a while. It can be worn a ton of different ways, and if you cheat a little, can become a little black dress.

"so i'm usually a 6 or a 4 in free people and i ordered a medium and it was huuuge. it kept sliding down my chest and the elastics on the legs wouldn't stay up. If you have a small chest area and skinny legs i recommend a small or xs. otherwise adorable, i feel really great wearing them, and they are great for dance class if you're a dancer"

"I read all the other reviews and I am just amazed how everybody has a different opinion, but I guess we all have different body types, so they fit us all different...makes sense. I am what people refer to a "pear" lol. Small chest but a large butt. I am usually a size 8 and these pants fit me perfect in a size M except the top could be a little smaller ( as I said I am a pear 34 a)but it will work. I love them and can't wait for the spring to come. They look great pulled up or as a simple pant with a tank. AND I think they are flattering."

"This harem jumpsiut is so sweet, I just had to have it in both colors. But be aware, it does run big. I got it in medium, but reordered for smalls. It wasn't snug enough aroung the chest area. So if that's an area of conern, then I say size your usual or one size down even."

"Hey listen, I think this pant not for everyones body type or personality type. Well I never even thought of buying any sorta harem pant in first place, cause they remind me often McHammer videos. But other day when I went to free people store here in manhattan,I could not belive that I gonna be look that awesome on it. I wore it both pant and dress form, every way I just look so cool. Few customers there after seen me on it, they be start wearing and bought it as well. Anyway that pant is so comfy and well made compare to other expensive hareem pants,plus it is convertible. So I think this item must be everyones shopping list for this season, but gotta make sure you are tall enough or have certain body type otherwise you might be look somehow hidious. Anyway peace!"
