"True, it is short, but I would only plan to wear with leggings.
The colour is muted, but a great french grey/ blue colour..
The print is pretty, the ruffles are awesome. They do hit strangely in the hips, but I just think the shirt is completely different and cool."

"I tried this on at the Free People store in Venice Beach and instantly fell in love with it. I bought the yellow with a beige tube slip for underneath and it is hot!!! Very flattering and flirty. At home I showed my boyfriend everything I bought that day and this was his favorite. Great sale price too!"

"although this is a beautiful and comfortable top, it is a very awkward length. unlike in the pic, it is too short to make an appropriate dress, and also hits the fullest part of your rear and flares out,making you look bigger. it is adjustable with drawstrings on both sides, and does look good over skinny jeans."

"Calling all shorties! This dress is super cute on and the perfect length. I'm 5'1" , 125 lbs and got the Medium. It is fitted to the shape of my body but not too tight. It is also flattering for my legs. If you are worried it's too short, you can untie the side ties and it gets another inch or two longer. I did that and it hits mid thigh on me. So cute for Summer bbq's by the pool or strolling by the beach boardwalk."

"I love this dress! (And if you're 5'2" like me, you can wear it as a dress.) If you're taller, wear tights/legging with the outfit. It's very summery/flirty, and the frill/poof at the bottom makes the outfit. I think you either like that ballet, frilly, poofy sort of skirt look or you don't. If you do, BUY THIS! If not, you're not going to be happy."

"Looks a little childish so if you're over 21, good luck. I agree with the other reviewer that the ruffle is a bit too poofy on the sides and it's extremely short. In my opinion it looks pretty stupid. I decided to return it, even though I keep 99% of what I buy from FP and figure out how to make it work."

"This top is really cute. It is a little short too be worn as a dress in my opinion but cute with leggings. It is pretty true to size but if debating between two sizes go for the smaller. The material is nice and the ruffle and pattern on the front make it all the nicer. I would recommend it."

"I really wanted to like this, but it is very short. The frilly part hits right at my hips and make them look huge! This is pretty astonishing because I have very narrow hips. This might look cute on a shorter girl, but I would advise the tall ladies to stay away. (btw- I am 5'11")"

"I bought this in blue to wear as a dress, and it's adorable. I am 5'4" 110 lbs, and I bought it in size large so it would not be tight, and that was the right decision. It fits me more loosely than it does the model in the picture, which was what I was hoping for. It's a must-buy!"

"This tunic is fantastic! I got the blue in the mail yesterday, and was so impressed I just ordered the yellow. It's true to size and looks just like the one pictured. It's also light but not sheer at all, even the ruffle around the bottom is not see through. A shorter girl could wear it as a dress, no problem. This is now my favorite thing in my wardrobe! Thanks FP!"
