"I have this dress in the blue and brown and I love it! I ordered a size 6 (I usually wear a 4, but sometimes a 6), and its a little big, so its true to size, but oh well I'm keeping it anyways since the don't have my size. Not only is the back crochet part see through, but it goes quite low so you can't hide your bra by wearing a strapless, you either have to not wear one, or just plan on having it show or something underneath. the dress is incredibly flattering especially because of the tie."

"Got this in charcoal, and just as cute as pictured......A lot of dresses from FP are a little shorter than I like. However, this one is slightly longer than the others (but still hits above the knee to look cute on me)......The snap placket is nice. It runs the entire length of the top, red part of the dress, so you can have it as open or closed as you like......The skirt flows out nicely to minimize hips, and the suede string draws attention to the skinnier waist......As mentioned by other reviewers, the crochet back prevents you from wearing a bra with this dress. I could go bra-less, but I'm just not used to doing that, so will probably try to find a racerback cami to match."

"This dress is wonderful! I love the detailed work on the back. The black string at the waist makes this dress complete! I got the ivory color, and am just absolutely in love with it! It is such a fresh style, and the material is so nice! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the straps were so long, even though I got size 0 I had to re-sew them to a shorter length. But that was no problem at all! I love how at the bottom, every other space is the fabric's other side. You can wear this at any time of the year, because of the colors, except the really cold weather, obviously. When I first saw the charcoal color online, i didn't like it at all. Then I saw someone wearing it downtown, and it's way cuter in person, but I still think the ivory color's much cuter!"

"I received this dress in the mail today and it's devastatingly cute. I'm 5'3" with an hourglass shape and this dress is really, really flattering. Due to the back, you must go braless--I'm 36c cup and I feel fully supported by the size 6 that I got. I highly, highly recommend this dress, it's great quality and an even better fit. Really awesome! Buy it before it's gone!"

"The print makes it innocent, yet the back makes it a little bit sexy. It's low cut and arm holes are large, so you do need a tank or sports bra underneath, but if you match the color, you hardly notice. The length is also perfect."

"This is one of those dresses that looks JUST like it does in the photo. The colors, the pattern, etc. I ordered it in Ivory first and, when I received it, I completely fell in love with the dress! Though I'm generally a size 2, I usually order size 4 to be safe and then have it tailored in problem areas. But, this dress, looks great a little on the loose side (I wouldn't recommend sizing up though, unless you actually prefer a looser fit - it feels like it's very true to size). I wore it so often in the first week, I went back and ordered one in Charcoal. : )"

"I got the maroon, and honestly have no clue why this dress made it to markdown. It's a bit roomy in the chest, but I don't know that sizing down would be wise. It's certainly not THAT roomy.
True, the dress does wrinkle easy, but it also unwrinkles very easy... The nice thing about the dress is that it covers everything up, so it can be worn in the summer... but due to the extra room in the chest, you can layer in the winter. This dress MUST be worn with boots! It was made to be worn with boots!
Added bonus! If you don't have many curves, this dress gives the illusion of a more feminine figure!"

"I got the pink/green one in size 2 (I'm usually 0-1) because it was the only one they had and it's a tad big for me on the sides but I just wear it with a short sweater (so my bra won't show) and it looks great! I love it's vintage look... and that It's very different from what you find in other stores. I love FP... if it only were cheaper!"

"First of all, I agree with the other reviewer; the picture above doesn't accurately represent this dress. The photos must have been photoshopped because the colors are rather toned down/dull in person. However it gives the piece a vintage sort of look, especially since the bottom half is made of linen type of material.
I am 5'6" and approx. 120 lbs... I bought size 0. Though difficult to put on/take off, the dress fits perfectly. I normally wear a size 2, so I'd say this runs slightly larger than usual.
Also the back is a bit of a problem since, to be honest, I cannot wear this without a bra. I wore a nude colored bra but plan on wearing this dress with a bandeau or something in future.

"I got this dress in the white/gray color and it is really beautiful. My only flaw to point out is that the straps are really long so you need to pull it up every so often. I would also like to say that the bottom hem of the dress is not folded under and then stitched so it has a rougher look about it which is hard to notice in the picture. Besides that though, the dress is WONDERFUL! I love the crochet back!!!

"When I first saw this dress on free people I wanted it really bad. I'm glad I didnt buy it.
I actually sw it in Macy's a few weeks ago. Its very pretty and looks just like the picture except...the dress is really long! I am also on only 5'4 but still...it doesn't fall even close to where it falls on the model on me. I actually didn't even try it on, I could tell from the hanger that it was going to be mid-calf for me.
Its a pretty dress but nothing really unique or different. If you are tall and want a simple, cute spring dress I would recommend it."

I bought it in a size 2 and when I tried it on it fit fine except for the back; it is kind of loose. The colors are great and are actually a little more vibrant than shown in the picture. "This is the prettiest dress. It is a little short on me, I'm five foot three! And I normally wear a 6 the 4 fits perfectly in this case. So on the big/short side. Which is kind of odd. The belt looks great on it. I am a little busty and it makes me look just like I want to look. Beautiful dress!!"
