"These boots are amazing! They're well-made and the leather is of high quality. The foot fits true to size and like the other reviewers have said, if you've got wide feet, you may want to size up.
The shaft runs much wider than is pictured but that's OK. They're quite sturdy and will last for years!

"These boots are amazing. The leather is nice and durable and the zipper is not only cool looking but makes it easier to slip on the boot. As far as size goes i got a half a size up and they fit really well. I love these boots, plan on wearing them for a long time to come and they were a great buy!"

"I love the zippered style of these boots but they are not all black as stated in the description, they are mottled with brown and I really wanted black but they are still really cute . They run a little narrow, and my foot is slightly wide so I had to have them stretched about 1/2 size in the mid section and now they fit great."

"i love these boots, i ordered a half size up, which i don't recommend unless you have very wide feet or high insteps like myself. normally i can't even get my feet into frye boots but the zipper made all the difference. fyi, they are looser in the calf than the pic seems to show. i have the feeling i'll be wearing these quite a bit, and for years to come."

"By growing up in the 80's these boots are amazing! I love the hard leather, thick sole and the best is the exposed zipper. These boots will work well for any outfit or age. The best part is they are not a trendy boot, so I don't think you will run into a lot of gals wearing the same!
P.S. I think they run normal for Frye boots, go a full size down!"

"I have a few pairs of Fryes and these are great, as I'd expect from Frye. Unlike some of my other pairs these are made of stiff leather and a took a little while to break in. Also, you really have to wear them with a skirt or over skinny jeans to show off the boots. You just don't get the full effect when they're hidden under jeans.
They don't look as broken in and weathered as they do in the picture at first. Wear them enough (or run them over with a car) and they'll get that look."

"I loved them and they look just like they do in the picture. I have bigger calves and they fit fine, a little tight but nothing that I am not used to, plus I can unzip them and they still look great. I wore them in the snow and my feet stayed extra warm."

"I recently purchased these boots and I love them. They have a slightly snug fit so if you have wide feet or if you want to wear chunky socks, you might want to go up a size. They are made very well and seem like they will last forever. I think the more worn out they get, the cooler they'll look. Now I need to buy some Free People knee high socks to wear with these boots because that would be really cute!"

"I just love them. The leather is of a really good quality. They look as I expected them to look. They run a little bit smaller than I expected of the Frye boots. I ordered a half size bigger than my usuall size, but a size bigger would be better."
