"I'm not sure how people actually wear this dress in public. You can see through the top and bottom - it's not even worth trying to wear undergarments to hide everything. Also, it's not flattering at all. I'm tall and thin but it just looks like a sack on me. This could work as a bathing suit cover-up but definitely not a dress."

"i LOVE this dress! it is so cute on. I bought it in the coral color, and it is a little brighter in person than in the picture. it can become casual to dressy with some accessories and the right pair of shoes. the knot/ twist is very slimming, but also adds some visual interests. great buy! and the price is a steal!"

"my wardrobe is mostly FP clothing and i loveeeeee this dress. i'm 5'6", 120 lbs, and i normally order FP mediums and this fit great. i pruchased the magenta color and i think that is pretty much how it is pictured. the dress hangs a little bit longer on me than it does on the model and the front piece does come down longer than the dress itself. it is so cute, especially for the sale price!!! i want to buy it in the coral color now..."

"I'm usually in between an XS and a S, so I bought the Hot Coral is size S (based on the other reviews about the sizing) and it fits really well. The Hot Coral is a little more orange than pictured, but it's still a stunning color on, especially if you have slightly darker skin. It is a little sheer, but nothing too noticeable. I love the pockets, and it looks great on! A bra isn't necessary, but nice to have on in case the dress slips, and it's always nice to have a little extra support (especially if your a D cup like me). The fabric is very soft as well."

"I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it. At first I was really drawn to the green but in person the berry color is fantastic. It reminds me of the mermaids from Hook. Overall the dress is very flattering and the beading at the bust is gorgeous."

"at first i was excited free people had a reasonable price on a cute dress but now i know why. i thought this would be the perfect go to summer dress, and it is good as a cover up over a bathing suit, but even the black is very see-through. you'd always have to put something under it. disappointing."

"The fit is way different than other dress I've tried on. The knot detail actually is what gives the dress it's flowy look. It's very cute and simple. Some what of a grecian feel. You can wear any type of jewerly with it, ornate or simple. You can dress it up or down as well. It's kind've longer than I expected so I usally wear it with heels. I am pretty short so, it's expected. hehe."

"Loved it so much I had a hard time only buying one. Bought the coral, at the store they had the pink lace tube under it and looked so cute. I feel in love with the black. I'm a little curvy at the hips and love how slim it make me look. I think I'm still gonna go back and get the black, can't get it off of my mind."

"I love free people and I thought this dress was a steal in pricing. However, when I tried it on at Macy's in both fuchsia and black, I was disappointed. The bust area of the dress is really cute because of the knotting however the bottom is very misleading. There is a long piece of material attached to the knot that goes down to my knee and the rest of the dress is mid thigh all around (I'm about 5'4). I am not too crazy about that look."
