"This dress is really cute and it does accentuate the waist well with the tie. I think it is very flattering. Lengthwise, it is a couple inches above the knee (which is long for freepeople on me since I am tall). It works well with a tube under it to avoid showing too much cleavage. The instore shirt is also really cute."

"I bought this dress ignoring all of the reviews. I had originally bought it for a wedding, but it is too short so Im jusr going to keep it as a summer dress. While it doesn't have a zipper, the hardest part is removing it. It looks super cute, true to size."

"I read the reviews and whatnot, and saw that some customers had an issue with this "dress" fitting more like a shirt, but I looked at the pictures and figured they must have received the wrong item. I mean, c'mon, the model is, presumably, rather tall, and it comes to mid-thigh on her. No. I'm 5'3", this "dress" was so short I couldn't even begin to THINK about wearing it without something (i.e. pants or shorts) underneath. I mean, it didn't even come to the top of my thighs, and I'm tiny. So definitely don't waste your money. This piece totally isn't worth it, and is certainly not as pictured."

"I bought the dress basically ignoring most of the negative previous reviews and it turns out I disagree with most of them!
I am fairly tall (5'9'') and for me, the dress reaches about mid- thigh. I am also athletic, but not a stick, and this dress did not make me look overweight by any means. Although, i can potentially see that for bustier girls an undershirt of some sort would be needed.
I would definitely recommend this dress. The designs are beautiful and unique, plus it has great pockets."

There is a reason there are no head-on shots of the models wearing this dress: it will make even the tall and slender look like they gained a few in the middle. The crocheted center panel does not flatter, narrow, or highlight the waist; it hides the curve of your waist instead. The skirt of the dress is meant to flare out, so it can't compensate for the middle panel and tends to exacerbate the problem. The bust is quite flattering from both the front and the side, so perhaps go to the store and buy the shirt version of this dress. the length is as shown, above the knee but not too short. The red color is gorgeous and i hope fp makes something else in this color, but the dress is going back."

"I agree with the review that said it fits like a top instead of a dress. I bought mine in the store and even though I really would have rathered it have an extra 8 inches of fabric like it is pictured, I decided that I liked the print enough to wear it as a top. (I bought the peach and the splashes of color are very bright!) Unless you like your dresses to be scandelously short don't even think about wearing this as a dress. I will probably wear mine over jeans or shorts."

"i love this dress! i tried it on at the FP store where it was much shorter and fit like a shirt. the 2 was perfect and showed just the right amount of cleavage (im a 34 B) and it was so comfortable! i was really dissapointed that it was so short, otherwise i would have bought it but i went to nordstroms right after and found the same pattern in the dress form! unfortunately there was only sizes 4 and up so i couldnt get it but i will continue looking b/c this is the dress i plan to wear for graduation. its so adorable!! good job on this one FP"

"I tired it on at a store. I am 5' 2" and very skinny. Size 0 fits perfect! The length is above knee( just like a picture). Since I have small bust, I have to wear something underneath. I think it looks better on chesty girls. The only con is this dress has no zipper, but its not a big deal.
Also I saw "tops" of this product at FP store. It was the same prints and design. Only length was shorter than dress cuz its "tops"."

"This dress is not for tall people! I am 5'10' (i am not an amazon woman) and the fabric is only about an inch below my buttocks. Also the front of the dress is a full inch and a half longer than the back of the dress - I measured it from below the band under the breast, to the bottom of the fabric. For $125.00 this dress is not at all what I expected. Very dissapointing!"

"Tried on instore and size 6 was about 5" inches longer than the size 8 (in peach), which then looked like a shirt. The fit is definitely weird. Wish there were a side zip! Once its on, the bust fit is good with the A-line cut."

"I ordered the peach. I usually wear FP XS and the XS fit perfect. Almost too perfect though the waistband with the lace is a bit snug and not very forgiving so I can't wear it if I am bloated or plan to eat a big meal! The skirt does billow out on me just slightly but I don't think anyone would notice. The colors are so pretty and I found the dress to be flattering."

"I bought this in Red and the pattern and color is gorgeous. However, there isn't a zipper, so it makes getting it on a little tricky. Also, I am a 36C and 5'3". The way the waist is, and how billowy the skirt is made me look short and squatty. It also showed a ton of cleavage. I had to return it."
