My favorite dress of the summer!

"I saw this dress online and I wasn't that impressed, but it really caught my attention in the store. I tried on the navy and fell in love with it; it really showed off my silhouette nicely. However, as mentioned in the other reviews, this will draw attention to your low waist/hip area and make it look slightly larger so I would not recommend this for anyone who has a pronounced "pear" shape. It is also a very short dress and will shrink some more when put in the dryer. I got a medium in this dress to add length (5'9" 135 lbs) and still found it to be a little short. The navy is definitely lighter than in the pictures, while the purple is darker. Besides all this, I can't count how many times I've worn this dress or had someone compliment me on it. It looks great in the fall too when worn with boots, lace tights and a jacket. Definitely worth the sale price!"

"Despite the other reviews for this dress, i ordered it because the sale price was so awesome. I really like it! I think it is flattering on me, and i like the navy color. Its longer on me than it is on the model, but thats no biggie. the ruffle is cute, and i like the seam detailing."

"When I received the dress, I was surprised because I had ordered a purple and it was a very very much darker purple than the one in the picture. I am disappointed and am thinking about returning it."

Pretty, but bad fit

"So, I saw this in purple and thought it was really cute. I was planning on wearing it for my birthday recently, but when I got it, I was surprised at the fit.
It's a bit short, but the real problem was the line across the middle where the skirt meets the shirt part. I just felt like it was drawing unnecessary attention to my midsection. I'm not fat, (5'6" and 115) but it just seemed to make me more 'hippy'.
I think you can wear this if you're heavier on top or are just stick straight."
