"The best $100 i've EVER spent! These are the black boots i've always wanted and now i have them :) They are so cute, way better than the pictures, and look amazing with jeans, dresses, shorts, skirts, anything really. i am IN LOVE with these boots. i usually wear a size 8-9 and the 8 fits perfectly. beware if you have high arches or wide feet, they may fit a little snug around your arch at first. they were a little tight on my left foot, but it just takes a little stretching out. amazing boots nonetheless. get them NOW while you can!!"

"When I first saw these boots I loved them! I wanted them in grey, but by the time I got around to order them, only black was available. I recieved them today, went online to write a review, only to find they're still here in grey! I am not sure whether to return them for the grey or not. I love these boots, even in black they are still my favorite! I am super excited to wear them, will be my number one shoe for a long time! The black boots are sort of shiny around the heel, but nothing too bad."

"I loved this boot from its picture,and when they went on sale I did not hesitate to purchase them. But when I received them they were not what I expected. The suede had a shiny quality to it I bought them in black. I take a 7.5 and they fit fine they were just not distressed like their pic. So I'm sending them back."

"The picture online for these boots are so cute, and so I ordered them! But when I got them, I was pretty disapointed. I got the boots in black, and when I got them, the heel, and all around the heel, was black, and not distressed brown like the picture. And the boots were not worn in and scrunchy, like in the picture. Again, not as cute as the picture."

It has a cool vibe to it and it took me about a week to break it in, and I can see them getting better as I wear them more. Look great with shorts or skirts with over the knee socks and with skinny jeans.

Ahem: there are a few things that were highlighted by other reviewers as well that its good to be aware of:
I got the gray one-looks quite different in the listing, cheaper and not as naturally shaggy-chic: The darkness is stained in, like a camo pattern, the suede is not as velvety/supple as the shoes in the listing give the impression of, and there is a strong leather smell, not of the exclusive leather kind. But that's about it: else, I am lovin' it."

"i was so excited to get these and it was very disappointing when i tried them on and inspected the shoes. the quality is horrible and the shoes are not as pictured. as someone mentioned you could see the glue!!! I instead ordered the jeffrey campball Dakota Suede Boot in both colors! and i love them."

"I'm usually a 6.5 so I bought that size and they are so SO cool. The fit is really comfy; if anything I found these just a bit loose. They already feel broken in to me, which makes them even better. I was torn between the grey and the black but chose the black because of all the bad reviews for the grey and I'm so glad I chose the black! I love the distressing on them and they are very well made. I love the rock n' roll style to them! These boots have attitude."

"I got these in the mail on Monday . They are a bit loose. The sole is WAY darker than the sole in the photo. I have tried them on about 9 times and am REALLY not sure. I have tons of motorcycle boots - these walk the line between tough and plain old gawky. They haven't looked right with one outfit all week - and I'm a boho chick. I think for the price I'll be sending them back. SOLE broken in same spot on both boots - one side worse than the other."

"These boots are definitely not as pictured, they are not really distressed they just have splotchy black spots here and there. The sides and bottoms of the soles aren't even the same color as shown. Worst of all they were poorly made. The leather was glued on incorrectly (you can see the glue sticking out around the sole) so that there are two large, ugly wrinkles on both boots. I didn't know whether to order a 7.5 or 8 and so got both and the wrinkles were on the 7.5 and not on the 8. However, the 8 had a big indent at the tip of the right boot. I was really surprised at the poor quality. However, I am keeping the 7.5 because it does fit well and I don't have any boots like it. If they weren't on sale there'd be absolutely no way I would keep either due to the poor quality and misrepresentation. Even with the sale price it's a toss up."

"I was on the hunt for a different kind of black boot. I didn't want the slouchy ones, since I already have a pair of those, and I didn't want ones that were too fancy since I just wanted to wear them casually. Then I stumbled upon these, and I was so excited! I just got them in the mail today, in black, and I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about them not looking worn enough, because they look super vintage. They fit perfectly, and they are genuine leather. The style is so different, and I'm so stoked to have gotten them on sale!!! They are definitely worth $300, so I'm happy I got them for cheaper, steal of a deal!"

"My Dilemma - I'd wanted casual 'motorcycle' style boots for years, not wanting to buy cheap ones, but never quite having the dosh to buy what I'd REALLY prefer! At this sale price THESE looked like JUST the boots for me... very happily, I'm in NO WAY DISAPPOINTED with them! (One more sweet surprise - they arrived only 2 DAYS after I ordered!)
I normally wear 81/2 to 9 shoe; 9 seems safer w/boots considering the pull-on style - with stick-in heel pads and soft liners (always!), I can generally make small size and comfort adjustments. I found these boots to be true-to-size & extremely comfortable (with a few days 'personal' break-in, but never a blister or sore spot). I've worn these daily (with EVERYthing!) & after a week or so they slip right on & just keep getting more and more comfy!
I feel they're VERY much as pictured as far as their 'broken-in' look and nicely faded grey colour. As someone else has said, I don't worry about my own scuffs and bumps - they just become more & more MY PERFECT BOOTS!! WELL WORTH my splurge - I'm VERY HAPPY with this choice!"

"I read a lot of the reviews before buying but im the type to have to see it to believe. also they were a good price to test out my theory. when i first opened the box, under all the package material, i saw the boots that i saw on the pictures online. it was a little weird buying them distress when im used to buying things perfectlty new. i would usually get mad when my new boots got dirty but with theses you dont have to worry soo much cause they already are! good peice of mind for me!!!!. As for sizing...im a 7 but at the time they were out of stock so i figured i'd go to a 7.5. They fit perfect. i couldnt imagin how the 7's would have enough room in them for cute free people socks to fit inside. one dis though...the left boot slide on easy however the right boot took about 15 min (not kiddin!) to get my foot in. finally i got my foot in and i refused to take them off in order to brake that right boot in . i checked the sizes and they were the same so i dont know what the deal was there! but totallllllllllly worth it for me and did i mention they are toooo cute!"

"When I first got these boots, I'll admit it, they needed some serious breaking in! They were tight to put on and rubbed my heel quite a bit. However, I was determined, 'cause they look awesome, and sure enough, after about a week, they fit fabulously! Now I've had them over a month and I wear them nearly every day. They are so freaking comfortable I can hardly remember how they felt when I first put them on! This is a serious boot - an investment, but so worth it! They just keep looking better with time and I can tell they're going to last for years. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
