"I love this dress. Has a beautiful shine in the fabric and easy to dress up or dress down. I ordered Small and I also think that it's a little big in size but my problem was only with the straps that were so long that both front and back part of the dress hanged loose. I shortened the straps and TADA!!! Sat perfect on my body and perfect length =)"

"Like the previous reviewer I also bought this dress to wear to prom for the same reasons. The material is very light but not sheer (it's also made in India.) The silver design is actually strands of thread that's been weaved in and out of the dress. The ends aren't sewn in and the dress does feel a bit rough on the surface but it's smooth on the inside, save for the back. I ordered a Medium because I thought the small (which was the only size with a length measurement) wouldn't be long enough for my 5'6'' but it's a little TOO long and loose now. I'm planning on fixing that by shortening the straps a little as the front hangs too low for my liking. Nothing major. Overall, this is a great alternative to the shiny, tacky prom gowns and the price (if you compare it to most prom dresses) is not so bad at the sale price. If you're not worried about the length I would recommend sizing down as this dress does leave some wiggle room."

"I've been looking for something different to wear to prom instead of the boring dresses that everyone ends up getting. This was on sale and I thought it would be way too simple for the occasion. With a little bit of jewelry the dress is perfect! I didn't expect it to be this beautiful. The back is the best part and the top so delicate and pretty.
So happy I ended up getting it. And for prom? It's different so no one will have it and a great price!"

"This item is itchy, runs large, and is totally unflattering unless belted. NOT worth the money, but this is not even my biggest complaint. I have been a long time customer of Free People and was recently TOTALLY disappointed with their awful customer service. If there is any problem with your order, don't expect any help or anyone to respond to your emails or calls. I will never be ordering online again."

"This dress is beautiful and angelic. The back is TDF! The fit is loose and I would recommend sizing down. I wish the empire waist was a bit more fitted. The fabric is so gorgeous! It shimmers lightly and flows nicely. It would be great with a tee thrown under it or an oversized top thrown over it too. Be aware of the open sides. A very lovely maxi."
