"Just received this dress last week and after reading the reviews I was a little nervous about how it would look and fit!! That being said I instantly fell in love just taking it out of the package....the feel of the material was exceptional the beading nicely done... but what I was worried about is how it would fit and if it would look the same as the picture.. well after trying it on with several choices of shoes ,boots, shrugs I cant wait to wear it ...the fit is right on ..it feels great

"it's a beautiful dress and flows gracefully on the body. i got the xs and i'm unfortunately going to have to alter the length a bit "/ i'm 5'1 96 pounds, but it still fits a little big, it would fit perfectly for someone who's 5'10 and slender, but for the majority of women who are of average height, it needs altering. the good thing is that it could be worn casually or dressed up<3"

"I ordered a small, because that is all that was available. So the dress is quite big. I will have to take it to my seamstress and have her take it in at the armholes and a little along the side seams of the dress. It is a beautiful dress, I love the beading and the fabric. Definately a keeper."

"Initially, I was upset that this was not a silk slip as stated on FP web site, but when I received the dress I was in awe. This dress is stunning! The material is soft,not polyester, but viscose(natural material). The dress has nice flower pattern. The beads stand out. Runs a bit bigger, but not much. Comes with the soft mesh lining. The only drawback is that the armholes are bit big.Overall, great purchase!"

"the other reviewer could not be more wrong about this. on a hanger, it looks like a simple slip, but on the body, it evokes luxury way beyond its cost. something like this is MEANT to be worn loose- it makes it more casually luxurious as opposed to looking like you were trying too hard. (NOT ALL FASHION IS ABOUT FITTING TO THE BODY, PEOPLE!) the material is viscose but it both feels and looks like lightweight china silk. the black floral design on the fabric adds to the texture of the look.
all in all, this feels like something a wealthy girl in the 1920s would laze about her mansion in.
the one drawback is the construction of the neckline. it is just serged closed, which isn't very accurate. you might find a loose thread or two stick out..."

"This slip is AWFUL. Do not even try to make it work. Firstly, the description states the material is silk, except for the embellishment. Well no, that's a complete lie. It is 100% polyester and has an awful itchy netting underneath it. I can't believe I paid over $20 for this fabric. It really makes me question fp because the description is completely misleading. It is also huge. I sized down thinking it would be sexier and come as pictured...nope. It looks like a trash bag. It's obviously been pulled taught behind the model's back. Seriously stay clear."
