Cute overalls, but distressing is just wrong

"Just got these and I am pleased with the style and the colour. Not mottled, just a grey/green. The only complaint I have is the distressing. The areas on the legs seem not too bad, but there is an area of distressing right on the bum! And it already is forming holes and I haven't even worn it yet. My solution? I bought a product called 'sew no more' and another called 'iron on stitchery'. I'm hoping one of these will work to reinforce the area by bonding a piece of fabric in a similar colour to the inside without adding the visual of more thread. Hopefully it will work. I agree with the other reviewer that the distressing on this is so unnecessary. Kinda ruins them actually."

"I love everything about this jumper. It runs just a teeeeeeny bit tighter than I thought it would, but I'm full of cupcakes and holiday treats, so it's to be expected, lol. Plus it stretches out, like other things, as you wear it. (I'm 5'9", 146 without cupcake weight - got a size 30). I jUst LOVE this thing. goes with t-shirts, tanks, turtlenecks, flats, boOts, whatever. Just throw it on and lOok cute without trying."

Great styling , skip the distressed

"5'4" 125 athletic - bought the 28. Fit perfect. If you're tall , it will be short on you. Fabric soft but didn't need the distressing plus it is already starting to show holes enlarging . Will definitely compromise the life of these and for the $$ that's a disappointment . Love that it is almost all cotton color is a gray green , I'd say not very green at all.
Love the cut , flattering for me.
Hope we see more of these and without the wear and tear , I can do that myself."

"I'm 5'4", 115lbs and am usually a 26 or 27. I got the 27. They fit fine, there was a bit of a gap in the waist in the back but my biggest problem was the front, it made my hips look huge and almost like I had a front butt. :( Not what I was going for. Looked better with my hands in the front pockets but not going to walk around that way. lol They hit a bit above my ankle unrolled and as the model in the pic rolled. The color was definitely different than the photos. I actually like it better. I think it looked more like a light army green with a brownish or greyish tone. The distressing was nice, nothing too overdone. Wished they worked, but def not flattering."

"I've been wanting these for a while, so I was happy when they got restocked! Except my usual size 27 sold out super quick, so I decided to get a 28, since FP cords usually run small. Not the case with these. They run true to your actual FP pant size. The 28 isn't super huge, but the straps are too long and it's a bit big in the waist- all things that can be fixed. However, I deducted a star because the hem of the pant has some dark green floral lining that, to me, doesn't really compliment the olive green of the overalls. It goes about three inches up, so even if I wanted to hide it, I wouldn't be able to."

Super cute - except for too much distressing

"These lost a star for the over-distressing on the right knee. Maybe I just got a lemon, but if you look at my photos, this was the before and after state of the pants after a pretty standard working mom's day. (Wore them straight out the box, no washing. Sent kids to school, office desk job, groceries). I'll probably sew a patch of leather or something underneath since I can see that after a month, my whole knee is going to be sticking out! Otherwise, great pants - hence I *won't* be returning them. Maybe if you can, check out the real thing in a store before buying since distressing can vary. I'm a sucker for overalls, and these are comfortable, trendy. Fit is great. There are two notches on the straps to suit different chest sizes. I'm a petite and have a boyish figure, so the straps are a tad loose on the inner notch. The color is much greener, but not a problem."

"These are really good. I am tall so they are quite cropped but oh so comfy and a cool alternative to jeans. Really good mom wear. I don't have to keep pulling up my pants in these.

"If you're a fashion forward gal - this piece is for you! These overalls are just so cool! I purchased my usual size (26) and they fit comfortably. Even the 25 were OK but I found them a bit too tight in the tighs.
The color is more of an olive green/grey; slightly different from what's shown on the website.

"the color is more a light olive, definitely not washed black as it appears as pictured. but i don't mind it as it's still a neutral and not too green. i love the fit of these. it still has a fitted look but it's not too tight at all. i can still roll up the legs to a shorter length if i want. i also like the light corduroy material with the distressed details. cute."

"Based on the photos, I assumed I was purchasing something similar to a washed, black olive. Turns out the overalls are more like an army green with a brown "bleach" stain effect as the other reviewer mentioned (docked a star for accuracy). Personally, I'm not a fan, which sucks because otherwise these fit just like the photos: adorable and fitted, while still being cozy.
I wish an employee would respond to the question about having more colors, since I'm thinking about fabric dying these and don't want to ruin them if it doesn't take. Anyway, if you can handle head-to-toe green, then pick these up because they really are a gem. (For reference I'm 5'8, 120 lbs, 36' hips and ordered a 28; fit perfect)"

"I purchased these in olive in my usual FP size. They were loose in the waist and hips, and the straps were way long. I'm a petite at 5'2" so that was somewhat expected. I went ahead and washed them, and they shrank up enough that I do not think I will need to add an extra buttonhole on the straps like I was planning on doing. They were perfectly slouchy out of the wash. I wish FP could make their regular slouchy jeans fit like these cords do. The color is lighter than the studio shots, and are kind of a mottled brown/gray/green almost leopard pattern with distressing all over. They are soft and comfortable with enough room to tuck in a couple of layers."
