Futuristic Love
5.16.2013
"I eyed these forever and finally could not be happier I got them in the mail! I am 5'8, 124 pounds and normally a 27 in FP jeans. I ordered a size 2 in these and I love love love the fit. These pants are not as stretchy like denim jeans are and I feel like the fit is meant to be a tad loose. They hit about my ankles and also look good cuffed like in the pictures. Def size down!"

FAVORITE PANTS!!!
5.4.2013
"These are probably my favorite pants that I own. They are soo comfortable and I love that you can dress them up or down. Definitely size down, they run large and stretch a lot. I am a pretty standard size 4 and went with the 0, and they fit perfectly!"

excellent jeans alternative
4.24.2013
"I purchased these pants the other day in the black w/ blue knee patches... i LOVE them. I wish I could wear them every day.
The black is more like a washed black/charcoal grey and the blue is true to color as shown.
I tried them on and purchased in the store so there were no surprised, but I originally saw them online. I was very happy with what the product looked like in person.
As other reviewers say, these run big and have a low rise. Not super huge and not super low. I usually wear a 27 in skinny pants and I took a size 2 and they are just the perfect amount of roomy. (see photo).
While I would recommend finding a store to try them on in, don't let that stop you from getting these.
Im seriously considering ordering the Green w/ Black patches now b/c they are SO comfortable.

perfect pants
3.21.2013
"I have been debating on these for so long. I was a little concerned that the rise would be too low for my booty, but they fit perfect. I would say they run a little large in the waist and I could probably have gotten an 8 but don't want to return the 10 for fear the thighs would be too tight. They are cropped but not too short (for ref I'm 5'8") and are seasonless. I'm so glad that I finally decided to get these. I ordered the olive/black combo and the color is true even the slight distressing. The fabric is softer than I was expecting too."

Rugged
3.9.2013
"I absolutely LOVE these pants! They run a bit loose (size 0 almost fits like a 2-3) which is perfect for achieving that boyfriend/rugged look. They go with anything and are SO comfortable. I anticipating getting a lot of use out of these pants which make them well worth the buy. Tip: They stretch pretty easily so throughout the day they may feel a tad bit looser than what you started with, but for me this was a plus. :)"

Very Comfy
3.4.2013
"Love these pants. Bought the black and the olive. I usually wear a size 8, but after reading reviews, I purchased a size 6 and both fit perfectly. They stretch slightly after being worn. I'm 6'0" tall as well, and they fit just like the model - not too short in length."

I didn't like this..
2.24.2013
"I know these received great reviews, but I didn't like them at all. They sat too low for me and they were actually a light tight for me! (I tried on a size 2..and I am 5'6, 115, 32A) They were nothing special.."

LOVE
2.15.2013
"The size runs large but it may just be the way they are intended to fit (5'6", 138lbs, size 8). The're sized perfectly to hang lower on the waist with a relaxed/casual feel but still have the skinnier-fit leg. Most comfortable pants I've had in years. Can dress them up or down... perfect."

Bring back the fatigue color!
2.8.2013
"I waited forever before buying these because they are kind of expensive, but I finally caved and bought the olive and they are so, so comfortable and cute and I get lots of compliments whenever I wear them! I wish I hadn't waited until the fatigue ran out as that was the color I really wanted. FP, bring back the fatigue color and I will be buying them! The rolled up look is really cute, also. Definitely runs large, even the 0 is baggy on me, but they don't look sloppy, just have a relaxed fit."

"I can't wear the "low crotch" look and I think these were meant to be so? I wear a size 28 in FP and the 6 was loose- didn't try the 4 on. I think I would have gone up a size to get the right look. Go down in you want them tight."

Super soft pants
2.5.2013
"I just recieved these in the mail today and I love love LOVE these pants! They are so soft and comfy they dont even feel like pants! They do have stretch which adds to the comfort. I was lucky enough to get these in the dark fatigue, the last pair in stock in my size!! for reference Im 5'3, 27 waist, I ordered these in size 4 and they are kind of loose, I do feel like they will stretch more as the day goes on which is good, Im hoping for the boyfriend look. If you want a tighter fit size down."

wardrobe malfunction...
2.1.2013
"I fell in love with these right away! The sizing is generous. I love everything about them. However the 2nd time I wore them, had not even washed them yet, the whole entire bottom ripped out when I bent down (and yes, I have a large bottom, but c'mon...), I was crushed! I was pleased to find that Free People stood behind their product and ordered me a new pair. I have never returned any free people product before. I am eagerly awaiting my new pair and hope these hold up!"

SO CUTE
1.23.2013
"I tried these on in the store and they were perfect. I'm a very curvy girl and I was worried that, because I'm short also, that the knee patches would make me look cut up and shorter. But they didn't they're so perfect and different. I could totally see this being an everyday staple."

Bring back the dark ones!

"These are my favorite pants. Just loose enough but with tailored, skinny fit that is very flattering. I'd buy the dark ones, too, if they still had them. Bring them back, please!"

fits loose, so comfy
1.17.2013
"these really are as comfy as everyone says! the material is very soft and very stretchy. i tried my regular size on and it fits a bit roomy like utility pants. i wanted to get the skinny look so i sized down, and it fits skinnier and still doesn't feel tight. after one wear, it actually stretched out more, so hopefully it tightens up after a wash. i'm only 5'3" but the knee patches are big enough so they actually cover my knees. mine came rolled up at the bottom and i like the look. very happy with these pants."

Favorite pant this season!
1.10.2013
"These pants are so comfortable and cute! A great unexpected neutral and a good staple for the spring and even summer! While I usually have to size up in FP pants and wear an 8/29 I was able to wear a 6/28 in these. They do stretch out a little, making them be a little roomy but still fitted. Definitely recommend these!!!"

#1 FP pant
12.31.2012
"The fit is great/ mid rise. Very comfortable to wear all day. Soft fabric, not stiff like it may look on photo. It is a pair of pants when you come home you don't take off until it is time for bed. I wash/wear, wash/wear. Become my favorites and I thought only leggings were comfortable. I'm 5 ft 9 and rolled look like model. I love wearing ankle socks that show on top of boots that match the color of my top.
Don't wait till your size is gone!!!

The only pants I wear
12.15.2012
"I never wear pants. I am strictly a dress girl but I took a punt on these and I am so pleased I did. They feel great and although they run big I followed the earlier reviews and went down a size. In spite of that the waist is big and you absolutely need a belt with them. I am so pleased I purchased these. The fabric is super soft. The only issue is the patches looked darker and like velvet in the pics whereas they are lighter and regular fabric (I got the olive) but they are still great trousers."
