"I'm 6', 127 lbs, and thrilled to find a maxi that is truly a maxi! Mot miraculous of all, the fabulous length held through a warm water machine wash -- although I did line dry. The small fits loose enough for all-day comfort and the light and flowy fabric is perfect for travel in tropical countries."

Mad cool
5.9.2013-
"Love the skirt, though it does drag on the ground - even with heels on. I'm 5'7" and bought the M hoping it will shrink a little in the wash. Still love the flow of it. Looks great with a tight fitting top. Taupe color is as pictured."

Wear Skirt as Dress
4.24.2013-
"I am 5'5" and ordered a size medium, which is my usual size. I ordered both the rust and taupe, and the colors are absolutely beautiful in real life. I agree with some users that the fabric could be a bit thicker, but I love how it feels so light and airy, and thus will be great for summer.
Now when I wear it as a skirt, the skirt is very very long (almost has like a train because it's so long). When I pull up the skirt and wear it as a strapless dress, it his just below my ankle and is perfect as a maxi dress. I would belt it to give the dress some shape.
However, what I think I'm going to do is cut it, so that I can wear it as a skirt and it will be a midi skirt and hit my shin, and then when I wear it as a dress it will hit right around the knee. I really think this piece can be versatile, as you can wear it as a loose dress, or belt it as a dress, and then wear it as skirt.
I'm excited to wear it!"

Wardrobe Staple
4.8.2013-
"This skirt became a staple of my wardrobe as soon as I put it on. Flows nicely and very comfortable. The fabric is very thin and I was initially surprised, especially considering the $88 price tag. I recommend for the summer as it's airy and loose. I did notice a significant change in length after I put it in the dryer, so take note if you're not happy with length. I'm 5'8" and 125 lbs and I ordered the medium and it fits fine."

Awesome Skirt
3.20.2013-
"Lots of the previous reviews are correct on here regarding this skirt. It is a true maxi and does run long, however I am 5'9 so this is an amazing length. For girls who are the petite side the bottom is unfinished, and can easily be shortened.
Just like many other ladies on here my only qualm with this skirt is the price. The over all quality is wonderful, however for the material, the price is too high. If the skirt was made from a heavier weight of cotton, I would feel better about spending the 88$
Even with that said, I can see myself purchasing at-least one of the other colors,( FP please make this in navy) this skirt is a great staple piece and runs true to size"

Perfect Everyday Skirt
3.17.2013-
"This skirt is perfect! I bought it in black and I can wear it to anything. It's not the highest quality fabric in the world like some other reviewers stated but it's still soft and ridiculously comfortable. It's really really long though. I'm about 5'5" and I bought the XS. I wore it around my waist and ended up having to roll the elastic three times. That's totally manageable though. Something else I found really awesome as a college student: you can put it in the dryer!!! So that's really convenient.
All in all, one of my best purchases ever."

My new staple
3.12.2013-
"I am obsessed. I bought this in black, and the pockets are huge and absolutely amazing. You could fit a kitten inside of them. That being said, however, I am 5'10 barefoot. I purchased the XS, and even though it sits right above my hips, it drags the floor (which I like, thankfully). I'm thinking of having it taken in so that it actually sits upon my waist...that way, I can tuck shirts in. I will advise, though, if you are under 5'8 and don't want to have it hemmed, don't buy it."

Tall Women Will Loooove This Skirt

"I'm 5'10'' bare foot 145 pounds and this skirt covers my shoes. It's really versatile and the material is very soft. I can't wait to wear this with a oversized white v-neck and my brown chelsea boots."

2.14.2013-
"Let me first say that I LOVE freepeoples clothing most times... I just received the mad cool skirt BUT its totally NOT so "MAD COOL" the fabric is extremely cheap and not flattering. I'm starting to see alot of decline in the fabrics that are being used on the line. It is a UTTER dissapointment. I am taking this skirt back to the store asap..."

disappointing
2.13.2013-
"I couldn't wait to get this skirt, even though it got a lot of poor reviews. I should have listened to the reviews. The skirt is ridiculously long and it's a lot of material. The pocket OPENINGS started halfway down my thigh. I don't know that a smaller size would have made a difference, but I sent it back. My friend who is 6 inches taller than me bought it also and had the same issue. If you're not built like the model in the picture don't waste your time."

Lovely skirt but a bit big.
2.8.2013-
"I just bought this skirt online and I really do love it, my only issue is that it's pretty long and even the small (which I normally wear) seems a bit too big on my waist. So for now I've been rolling the waistband 2-3 times for it to fit. And yes it's a maxi skirt so it's supposed to be long but I would definitely size down with this skirt because even being 5'10 this skirt stills drags quite a bit on the ground with a size small. But because the material is divine, I don't think I'm going to do anything about it other than maybe get the waist taken in."
"This is absolutely the best skirt, pockets and all! So flattering and comfortable I want one in every color! Yes, it is long but so far if I want it shorter I just fold the waist down and it gets shorter. It can be worn casually or it can be dressed up. I wore it 3 days in a row and I never do that but with different tops it always seems new. Thanks FP but please more colors!"
"I loved this skirt so much that I bought it in all three colors. It's just so versatile! I can wear it to dinner; I can wear it to work; I can wear it to the beach; I can wear it to the grocery store. It will pretty much travel with you from day to night with just a change of shirt and shoes. The fit is true to size. It does arrive quite long (I'm 5'9" and had to wear it with some boots with a 1-2" heel), but I found that a run through the wash and dryer shrunk it up enough for me to wear with flip flops/flats. Definitely my new favorite go to piece!"
"when i saw this skirt, i had to have it in the blush/taupe color. i was so excited to get in and when it finally came in the mail, i was so disappointed. first, the color i wasn't impressed with. it was def more brown than i wanted. secondly, i knew it was going to be long but i didnt realize i could literally wear this as a strapless dress. no joke. i'm 5'3 but it was a bit ridiculous. the fabric is okay, not really the best. i own TONS and i mean TONS of free people clothes, this will be the first time i return something. it's not worth the money."
"I bought this in taupe as soon as it came back in stock because I knew it would sell out quickly. After reading all of the reviews, I was prepared for a more beachy skirt than as pictured, and it didn't disappoint. It is extremely long, which makes it hard to see how it really looks, but I plan to cut it. Yes, it is a little pricey but I think it's different than other skirts I've seen and FP always holds up in the wash and through heavy wear, IMO."

low quality material
11.6.2012-
"I gave this order a lot of thought and read the reviews and figured I needed to see for myself, so I ordered it. I ended up returning it because of the quality of the material. I like the idea of a big, comfy, billowy skirt but could not justify spending $90 on something that I considered to be very low quality. it was VERY long, which would be okay, but I could also not justify having to cut something with a scissors that cost so much. I ended up returning it. I would probably buy this skirt but at less than half of the cost FP priced it at - just not worth almost $100 for the quality."
"I had continually passed on this skirt and am now really mad I missed the taupe color. I ordered this in black thinking it would be perfect for my upcoming move/long road trip. It is super long as every said but that wasn't an issue since it can be cut. I put this on with the retro stripe tee and it felt like I was wearing pj's. If I could find the mauve, I'd order it too. Please consider making more of this skirt in different colors FP. Such a wonderful comfy piece and the price is fairly reasonable too. I AM IN LOVE!"
