"I'm a size 2 so I got these in a size XS. They fit, but they did not have as loose a fit as you see on the model, so if you like the model's fit, size up one size. They are super cute and I'm glad I got them, however before I even wore them there was a tear in the seam holding in the elastic at the bottom of one of the legs. After I got this fixed I wore them once, then noticed another tear in the seam holding the waist elastic on. Yet again, free people needs better quality control."

"I ordered these in copper combo. I usually wear a 4-6 in pants, so, based on other reviews that said they were roomy, I ordered a small. When I received them I noticed the color was a little less red and a little more brown than in the picture, but I didn't mind at all. The print is cute, and the fabric feels nice. But they were too snug in the legs to fit like they do on the model (I am a runner, so my legs are muscular). I'm going to exchange them for a medium and hope they will fit more loosely."

"Lets just say that you get what you pay for. The quality is just ok and the elastic makes a funny twist so you got to be careful with it. The color is fine and the size was fine as well. you can wear them low or high and they will look good. A few weeks ago I got something similar from FP, it is no longer available so I couldn't check the name, I got in love with those and I adventured myself to get this ones too. :( they don't look as good I must say, but they are ok for a day at the beach or a relax day at home."

Epic Pants!
7.5.2012-
"So these pants came with me on an epic fourth of July adventure. My brother and I built a Polynesian Outrigger canoe together last Summer, and since than he has moved away to Oahu. I live in Santa Barbara, and the canoe lives on the beach here. The fourth of July fireworks took place front row of the canoes home beach tonight, and two other girl friends and I decided to take the canoe out into the middle of the harbor last minute, right in the middle of the action. I was wearing these pants and ended up swimming in the harbor in them. We were the only boat out there (harbor patrol must have over looked us). These pants withstood the test! other than a stretched seam they held up pretty good! Of course everyone always compliments me on them. Totally adorable. A little big in the waist but I'm 5'8", 145, size 6 dress and the medium fits great. I will have to buy a new pair, unfortunately, because I stretched the seam in the crotch, but otherwise these are my go to pants when adventuring. ;)"

"Unfortunately, I went with the great reviews and bought these cool looking pants. The pants that I ordered did not turn out great. The print was cheap, as well as the feeling of the fabric. The copper was not as burgundy as it appears in the photo- almost greyish brownish. I liked how the pants could be worn to the ankle and scrunched up but the waist was wayyyy too big on me. I'm 5'4'' and 130 pounds muscular, with an athletic and decently curvy body. I ordered a small like a lot of other free people stuff I have and they were just too big in the waist. Ok in the leg size but not in the waist. Hmm... I'm going to return these unfortunately! :("

"Got these in the Navy Combo, absolutely love them! Very versatile. Have worn them on the beach and to work. They are so light weight so you can wear them on very hot days. I’m usually a 6 in pants, got the small and they fit perfect! At 5’2 they come to my ankle when all the way down, which is the way I like to wear them. Extremely flattering….will be buying the other color!"

"I got these in the copper combo. They are so incredibly boho-chic and cozy.
I wear them two ways: Super low on the waist and scrunched up on the bottoms for a real harem pant look OR higher on the waist and unscrunch the bottoms for a more polished straight-leg look.
These are for sure going to be my new summer favorites. If they made these in even more colors I am pretty sure I would buy them all! Snatch them up, you won't regret it!"
