"I tracked this skirt to my local FP store and was convinced from the pictures that it was going to become my new go-to piece. I like it, it's fun to wear, but dang it's a LOT of material. It seems to be a lot fuller on me than on the model - which may be due to the fact that she is a model and I'm not - but the hips poof out quite a bit, making me feel thick, where other similar skirts don't do that. Sitting down creates a MASS of ruffles on either side, with relatively little material pooling in the front - making me feel oddly exposed despite the volume of the skirt. It's great when you're standing or walking, but otherwise it's only a Meh...I'll try it a few more times but I wish actually wearing it was as fun as thinking about wearing it..."

Review 2 for Amy Tiered Skirt
"The skirt shown on the website is a little deceiving- it looks lifeless. The picture in the catalogue shows what the skirt really is. I have to say, I saw this skirt in person at the Rockefeller center and I had to try it and buy it. As it says, it has just enough volume. I bought the white/ivory one. It's the cotton material and the lining underneath that gives the skirt the flow and flare. It has the right amount of bulk. Since its not as heavy, there is no weighing down of the skirt as some tiered skirts weigh down from the weight. I am a size xs fp and I believe a euro size 36 is the xs they have in this skirt. It fits just fine ( tts ). I am athletic built , 5'5 and the skirt comes just above or slightly more above my ankle if i wear it above my bellybutton. I tried wearing it below and above my belly button. Wearing it both ways looked lovely. On the other hand my cousin is 5'0, And very slender. It looks like a maxi skirt on her, it falls too loose on her waist and she is entirely engulfed by the skirt. Too sad she can't own it.
Over all it's a fun, lively, voluminous, flarey, not as heavy skirt. You can dress it up or down, with boots, high heels, flats, oxfords or wedges. Any top/vest would go with the skirt, but I would wear a simple top/shirt/blouse since the skirt is an eye catcher and the center of attention. Although its an expensive skirt, Its very comfortable and vintage at the same time. I am not a ballerina, but I have to perform an amateur pirouette every time I try it at home! I can't wait to wear it out! "
