"this an awesome maxi dress. theres no real way to wear a bra with it, but you dont need one. my chest still looked great. its definitely long like the other reviewers said, but when i wear heels with it i think its okay. i may cut it - i havent decided. or get it hemmed. i bought this for a vacation im going on this winter with my family and i cant wait to wear it. its one of those dresses that makes you feel beautiful when you wear it"

"How could a long cotton maxi dress be so sexy? It just is! I wore this out to dinner with my husband and I just felt so pretty (and comfortable) the entire night. The cotton is so soft and thin, this could definitely be worn year round. It was a cold night so I wore thick black tights under it, which made it even more cozy to wear. The color is so beautiful; I got it in the green. I am a B cup and was a little worried about slipping only becaue it is very low cut and the straps are so thin. I paid a little extra attention and had no incidents (phew!) I am 5'4" and HAD to wear platforms. I wore my jeffrey campbell litas and it totally did the trick.
The elastic band in the back is so subtle and really is necessary. I am so grateful for it. It holds the dress in place more than you would think. And last, the slits on the side...I am not sure if this was intended, but I decided to tie a knot on each side which made it a little shorter for me and gave a really awesome extra detail and draping effect. I love this dress and am so glad I bought it! :)"

"I bought this dress in size XS and I'm 5'4 118lbs. It's beautiful, and it fit amazingly everywhere, minus the length. I put on a pair of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita shoes and the dress was still dragging, even when I tied the sides. Had to cut it. The only reason I'm not giving this dress 5 stars is because, like a lot of free people products, it is completely see-through when you're standing in front of a window or some light source. Please, free people, make your clothes to do what they're supposed to - cover our bodies. Make sure you're wearing a pair of shorts under this dress."

"This caught my attention while I was flippin' around the site to make a purchase, so I thought I'd try it in both evergreen and washed black (can't hurt, I can always return to a store). I got it in my usual size large (I'm 5'4", 160lbs, 38B, curvy), I just received my order today and couldn't wait to put this one...first thought when I did was WOW! The washed black looked absolutely SEXY on me! It just fit all the right parts perfectly, I'm really amazed how in love with this dress I am. It has a raw-cut hem at the bottom, and since I'm short this dress is WAY too long on me (even if I wore wedges), so I'll probably give it a wash first and then see how much I have to cut off the bottom myself. At the top back of the straps, they're adjustable. Also, there is a slit cut up each side of the dress, which you can see in the first picture of the washed black (bottom right). Unfortunately the evergreen color didn't look as good on me, but the washed black is a freakin' keeper!"

"I purchased this dress in the Large in Black and I'm very happy with it. I'd say it's prob a little on the small size. The fabric is super soft and the lower half has that great flowing look just like in the photos. The colour is a washed black and the stripes are a grey. I really like how it fits around the busts - I'm a D cup so I was a little bit worried it would be too sexy - but it's not too sheer and I feel supported. The back detailing is really nice and the black elastic band across the back is functional and cute. The only thing is that at the bottom on one side it has a slit ending at mid calf, which is not mentioned or can be seen in the photos, so you can leave it or tie it up. I'd prob prefer if it didn't have this slit but it's still a beautiful fitting dress anyway."

"I got the green in a M and it fit perfectly. The length was a hair too long at 5'9", so I trimmed the raw hem to my desired length with ease. This looked beautiful on, and the color was gorgeous with my red hair. This looks awesome with a graphic tee layered over top with boots, or with a cute jacket and heels. Beautiful, flattering, versatile dress."
