I love this skirt!
8.12.2013
" I am probably a little older than the average Free People customer (35), but when I saw this skirt I had to try it on, and I am glad I did. It is quite a bit longer than pictured. I am 5'8", and at my waist it comes to a couple of inches above the knee. It is super soft and comfy, and will transition well to fall, when I plan to pair it with tights and motorcycle boots. It is a really casual skirt, made of sweat pant material. It flows perfectly, swishy not poofy, and the weight of the material keeps it from flipping up too much. Plus: POCKETS! I would say it probably runs large, since I am usually a 12/14 after having 2 kids, and the large fit perfectly on me, with a little room. I bought it in black and army green, and both colours are great. "

Not worth the price

" I had a few similar shape skirts that require dry clean and tried this.
However, given the quality, I would wait for it to go on sale and get the green/black one.
Overall quality is comfy and good. "

Gorgeous colour!
6.27.2013
" I bought the bright red colour (very true to the online shots) and was very pleased with the fitting. I am 5'9, ordered size small, and it hits me mid-thigh. I only wish it was a little bit longer because I'm an hourglass figure, so I prefer to wear skirts on my waist instead of my hips, but it still looks lovely nonetheless. Wish I could get the green one too. "

love it
5.9.2013
" I ordered this skirt in black and I think it is fantastic. The fabric is lightweight, but feels heavy enough that it doesn't seem like it will fly up in a slight breeze. I have already washed it once and it held up beautifully. I usually have trouble finding skirts for myself because I am rather petite (5'2"), but this skirt hits me just a tad bit lower than mid thigh, which is perfect! The only issue I have is it being slightly loose in the waist for me (25-26") but the skirt looks so good and is so comfortable that I can easily overlook that. "

skirt love from a girl who doesn't love skirts
3.16.2013
" I'm not really a skirt girl. I don't really like wearing skirts but I love this skirt. It's flattering and cute but not too girly and very versatile. For a more tomboy feel I wear it with an oversize band tee and when I'm feeling more boho I wear it with a cute free people crop bralette that I have. It's not lightweight but that's a good thing in a stiff breeze.
All over, the kind of thing that's going to get a lot of mileage, even for a girl who doesn't like wearing skirts. "
