"I am thrilled with these boots. I was worried they would be too small, as my true size is 6.5 but i sometimes have to size up. The 6.5 fits with plenty of room for thick socks next fall. I was also worried they would be flimsy but the construction is very sturdy. i think these will last me a long time. Get these they are SO worth the sale price."

Awesome Boots!

"Got these boots in black and I'm glad I did! This is a very sleek boot and lightweight for leather. I'm bringing these backpacking so that is a big plus for me! Very good craftsmanship with a quality zipper. The red zipper detail is edgy and cute without being over the top. Super comfortable and only the slightest bit roomier than my usual 8 - good with thick socks. Really cute with jeans, shorts, or black tights!"

Comfy and cute but poor representation of color

"These are really cute boots but was disappointed by how different the olive color looks from that pictured on the screen. On the site the olive looks like a rich dark brown with a greenish tinge. In person the color is more like an oxidised copper penny -- a sort of pale olive green with random streaks of pale brown. Really didn't look good! I kind of wished I'd gone for the safer black option. After reading up on things online I used Obenauf's leather oil to darken the shoes and they look very much like those in the picture now, so I'm very happy but be warned that the shoes look quite different in olive when they arrive. The shoes are extremely comfy and cute in every other way. I love the zip -- easy to put on and take off. I'm looking forward to wearing these on a weekend trip to NYC with lots of walking around planned."

"These boots have it all. Great quality, comfort, and style. From the moment I saw them, I knew I had to have them. Not only are they great in appearance, but also in comfort. I bought the boots in black in my regular size, 7 1/2. They are definitely TRUE TO SIZE and can be put on and off without any trouble. They aren't stiff and uncomfortable like some other boots I've had. I love the whole look of the boot and they look great with skinny jeans tucked in. These boots were a fantastic purchase and I recommend them to anyone who wants a stylish, unique, and comfortable pair of boots!"

"I ordered a size 9 (my usual size) in the olive color. First of all, the color of the shoes looks NOTHING like it does online. On screen they look more brown, which was exactly what I wanted, but they're really this weird sky blue/grey tone that's sort of sponge painted with an olive green color. I didn't like the color AT ALL and was so annoyed that the color was not advertised correctly.
They also run big, so I would advise getting at least a half size smaller than what you normally get, maybe even a full size if you don't wear thick socks. The 9's were slipping off my feet.
I decided just to return them because I didn't want the other colors, I really want a brown boot. Oh well. I hope you have better luck than I do."

"Bought these boots in black, mainly because of the red zipper which makes them look different to the usual plain ankle boots. I usually wear a size 8, but ordered 8.5 thinking of the thick winter socks I would be wearing with them. With thick socks they fit well. With thinner socks maybe too much wiggle room. If I order another pair I'll stick to my usual size.
These boots are SO comfortable you won't know you're wearing them, no breaking them in or stiffness. Love them to pieces!!"

"I think these shoes fit perfectly, I'm a size 9 1/2, and don't squish top of toes. They're slightly more purple than in the picture. Very comfy, and I can tuck my skiny jeans in the boots."
