"I feel in love with this dress in the tea color online and all over again when I opened the box from my online order! Great fit, I was torn between going with the XS or S (I'm generally go between the 2 sizes) so took the risk and went for the smaller size and it fits like a glove! Heavenly fabric, very figure flattering but does need a slip. I have worn this dress so much I recently ordered it in black also!"

"Love this one. Have worn twice and each time multiple compliments. Great cotton fabric and the embroidery just makes this dress special. I'm 5'6" and the maxi length with 3/4 length sleeve very romantic flow. Tea color Is a little see through so I wear a flesh color spanx type undergarment as well as flesh colored bra and looks great! This dress runs a little large but just tighten the umpire drawstring and fits better. Would like other colors but do not have them in medium. Will be adding this size to my wish list!"

"I really wanted to love this! I have this draw to items that look like nightgowns and this is a prime example. I tried it on at my local fp store and completely fell in love until I came home and tried it on again. Its 100% see through and you'd definitely need a slip but more importantly its just too much material. I think maybe if the arms were shorter or something because of the fact that its a maxi, on someone as short as me (5'3 1/2) I just look pretty ridiculous. I think it might work for someone who's really tall. The detailing is really pretty but honestly it just looks like a victorian era nighty."

"i got the tea colored dress and it is super beautiful on the rack but i wasn't sure if it looked 100% great on me...until i wore it last night for a few hours and got TWELVE compliments from strangers at a bar. people were lovingggg it. for sizing- i'm 5'8" 160lbs (though i look like i weigh less) and got the small....and it's still a little big too. definitely see-through so i wore a slip, but i think in the summer it could be ok without one, depending how many children or creepy people are around."

Pretty but....

"I am returning this dress; although, I do agree that it is quite pretty. I just can't quite see wearing it out as it looks to me like a very pretty negligee or dressing gown. I bought it in the pale color, and it is not shear at all as many reviews have mentioned. Maybe it has been redesigned?"

"I received this dress in the raspberry and the tea and love them both ,each color has a very different look. The tea is more romantic and will be for special occasions and the raspberry is more everyday . I love it w/ a black wool vest and black lace up boots .I love the fit and do not have to wear a slip w/ either color. It runs a bit large but i just tie it tighter and it looks perfect. Being tall i love the length and am going to be getting a lot of wear from these two dresses. I like the new black / w white flowers , it looks like a classic piece. Temptation !!! A great dress in any color!"

Very different than the photo...

".. but so much prettier! The dress I received has a drawstring waist, hook and eye closures in the bust, and the embroidery shown going down the center continues up around the neckline. I'm really starting to wonder about the differences in the dresses that are photographed on models and what is actually being sold. I noticed differences in the New Romantics Splendor dress too- the catalog image shows a slightly different dress than the studio images. Whats up with that?
Anyway, THIS dress is gorgeous, and super comfortable, soft, roomy and flowy, and the fabric is light and breathable. I even think the fabric in the photo looks more like cotton than rayon.. but the dress I received is certainly rayon. Color in mulberry is spot on. I'd love to buy it in tea as well."

"I bought this dress in Tea colour, and loved it when I tried it on. It is sheer, and I will need another slip underneath to wear it. But the material is soft and very comfortable and I love the way the dress falls. The tea is exactly as shown in the photographs. My only gripe is that it runs extremely large. I am normally a size S, and I bought an XS for this one. Despite that the V-neck runs quite low, and the dress is long. I am 5'6", so the length is just about right---just halfway between my knees and ankles, and I might just get the length altered and have a slip put in. But all in all, a beautiful dress."

"I love this dress. I purchased the cream but it is slightly more apricot. The colour is very warm and the white patterns really stand out. I would think it is slighly larger than the mediums I normally purchase however I would not change sizes from your normal. It is very long so I will have to take it up as I am only 5'2" and it touches the floor. All in all a very lovely dress and I am glad I bought it!!!"

"I love this dress on the model. I tried this dress on in store and laughed at how large it was. But when I sized down, I felt my breasts were too displayed. After watching this dress repeatedly sell out, I purchased it in my usual medium. It is quite roomy, but I just tighten the ties extra tight. I also paired this with the beautiful tulle maxi slip. It was so feminine and pretty. Of course, my husband said I looked like little house on the prairie. The dress I tried on in store was the color of the photographs. The dress I received from my online purchase is the color of raspberry sorbet. I prefer the color of the dress I received better. Happy with this purchase."

"I bought this in my normal size Large and I think I could have bought it in a medium because it is a little loose, but doesn't look bad at all so that is why I am keeping the Large. I bought this in the Wine/Bordx color and for reference I am 5' 1" so for you short people out there I do not have to get the dress hemmed at all. It comes to the back of my heel."

"I bought the dress in sz XS in Tea. I fell in love with it the instant I opened my package, the color and embroidery is beautiful and feminine, however, the fit and the sheerness of the dress turned me off. The V was extremely low, and while that ordinarily isn't a problem, the dress was also completely sheer. I tried it on with several slips, but none have a V that deep, so it showed through and sort of ruined the appeal of the dress for me. If the dress was $100 I'd have taken it to a seamstress and had a lining added. Sadly this one goes back :("

"I purchased the Mulberry in a medium and it was too big, so I ordered the small ..it was perfect. I loved the Mulberry so much that I ordered the tea in a small and it was way too tight..had to return it and am now waiting on a medium to arrive. I think that they re-worked it and it is true to size now. I am usually a medium. We'll see. I absolutely love this dress.

"The pics do a good job of capturing the fit and details of the dress. The color will look darker IRL because of the lighting. Because I'm 5' 4", the hem hangs lower on my calf (i got Med). The fit was pretty loose & I'm not sure if I should've ordered small. But I don't like struggling to get a dress on/off as this has no zippers.
It's a medium-weight fabric to me but it's a tad sheer so a slip is needed. All in all, it's adorable and unique. A little over-priced IMO. Get this if you can."
