"I got these in the black. I love that they have no hardware, but the back on black subtlety of the skulls is a great twist. This way they won't compete with anything I pair them with & I can pair them with both gold and silver. They seem very comfortable (still 30 degrees w/snow so can't wear them yet), save for a little piece of plastic between the toes. But if the plastic turns out to be an issue I'll just carefully remove it with an exacto knife. These will get a lot of use in my closet. So much more flattering on the foot than gladiators."
