Extremely Fragile.

"Beware when wearing this top. It is absolutely stunning with all the lace details and extremely versatile since you can wear it front or back. However, after wearing this top only two times it snagged from having a purse on my shoulder. I have never had clothing rip from carrying a purse on my shoulder. I am super sad because it is such a lovely piece but I didn't realize how delicate the fabric is until this happened. You have been warned. Keep your purse in your hand when you wear this top."

Purchased a small and will go with an xs for the next one. Makes no difference that it is a little large and it is a gorgeous, feminine top.

"this would've been better if there were a couple more buttons in the back. I tried wearing this with a cropped bra like the model, but it just feels too breezy like i'm not wearing anything. i'm afraid it'll blow up on a windy day lol. anyway, it's just fine with a cami or any other tank underneath. I also think if the black was a true, jet black it would be better than the charcoal color. sizing wise, stick to your usual. I didn't find it too big or small."

"I saw this top on a girl working at Free People and had to have it. The front is beautiful, great lace detail, but the back adds so much to it. Paired with a bandeau, this top is feminine and sexy and a summer must have. I actually sized up from a small to a medium, just because I wanted it to be a little longer to wear with cutoff shorts. Don't stress about the size if you're ordering online-with the back open the sizes are all fairly similar. Order your usual size unless you want a little more length, then size up. Love it!!"

"this top is so feminine a pretty. I love the open back. I don't think that it will fly around even with the back open. It is semi sheer but I don't find it provocative. I got the washed black and found the color to be true. I think it runs slightly large, but nothing to size down over. So many ways to style. This is a seasonless top and can be worn with so many things. One of my new fans"

What's Not To Love....

"I tried this top on today at my local FP store and fell in love with it. My store offered two colors, ivory and a slate blue/gray color. I loved, loved both of them, I went home with the ivory but will no doubt end up with the other color as well. I first fried it on with the open side to the front because I was unsure of having an open back. I ended up trying it with an open back and loved the look. I wore a nice dressy cami underneath and thought it looked amazing, the back does not just drape open but sits elegantly. The piece runs a little large so you may wish to size down. I love the fit of the sleeves, I have large biceps from lifting and it fit perfect. The material and the design is so incredibly beautiful. I recommend this top 100%."

"I love love love this piece! It fits so beautifully and is too perfectly unique that I couldn't be happier with it. The back is amazing and doesn't feel at all like it would reveal too much if I turned this way or that. It is simply the perfect combination of comfort and cute.The sizing is pretty spot on, I am 5'4 115 lbs and ordered an XS. I purchased the cream which is a bit sheer. I would have liked an extra layer of fabric so that it could be worn completely by itself. Overall, a MUST have for those who love to hear, "Where did you get that!?!""

"I cannot wait to wear this shirt to a festival! The ivory is beautiful and is only a little see-through. I will have to wear a bandeau under it. I usually wear a medium in free people, but i am going to try to return it for a size smaller to see if the poofyness softens a little. I love the concept of this shirt especially with a tan. I will wear this shirt with dark skinny jeans and heels/boots :)"

"This blouse is really pretty though I dont know if I can also get around the back being opened. Looking at options to close it in. As another review mentioned mine really smells also. Its got that strong oil /Chinese factory smell. I found it to run a little large, I purchased a medium and Im thinking a small would fit better as its big in the chest area."

"As others have stated, I too purchased the "black" and it is a slate gray color. I see now they have a little disclaimer posted. I was disappointed as gray lace is not near as sexy or sharp looking as black lace, however the open back is what sold me. I doubt I'll wear it with a bandeau top as its styled but I've tried it with other camis and tunics to peek through the back and that offers lots of options and helps to keep it interesting. Not my absolute favorite FP purchase, but a keeper none the less!"

"This is definitely a pretty top, however.. the black is most definitely not black. That's not necessarily a bad thing because the color is a very pretty gray but it wasn't what I was expecting. It's also much boxier and more flowy then what the picture shows. I would definitely go down a size. ( I'm 5'7 and 130 pounds and I wish I ordered an XS) It's just not quite as amazing as what I expected.
And this may sound odd but it smells REALLY strange.. this isn't the first time a free people garment has smelled weird so I really don't know what to think of it."

"I wanted so desperately to love this top. I ordered the washed black and it looks exactly as pictured. It's beautiful and very feminine. However, the back kills it for me :/. I thought I could deal with the back open as much as it is, but I just can't. Everything else is absolutely perfect about this shirt."
