"I LOVE this poncho. The olive color is so rich (and flattering - on me at least!) and it goes well with a lot of darker fall tones. I like that the weight doesn't pull down. The pice kinds of floats around you and makes a bold, but not cumbersome, statement. It fits quite narrow through the chest and shoulders so I'm not tugging and readjusting all the time. Length wise it hits about mid shin on my 5'7" frame. The best part is it was on sale at my local FP store - score for me, although I wish FP was more consistent about pricing between the on-line and retail portals. Even if it weren't on sale I'd like it just as much!"

"I am 5'2" and this thing is l o n g...it drags on the floor, but that is what I love about it. I like the loose weave. I opted for the olive as I thought the beige looked too much like burlap.
I have not noticed any shedding but if it does shed I really don't care. It does get caught in everything, but something like this would so you just have to be careful. As a matter-of-fact I liked it so much I bought two!"

"I'm digging the open knit stuff. This is no exception. I think where I differ from some of the other reviewers in the shapliness of this poncho is that I am crazy narrow in the shoulders. because of that, the draping off my shoulders is quite flattering, and just like the model. It looks STUNNING with booty shorts, solid tights, platforms/heels, and a plain shirt. The side slits create long lines making you look crazy long and lean. For a shortie, that's always awesome. Note: I'm 5'2" and the xs/s hits the ground in flats. It takes a good 2" of heel to get the fringe off the ground. Size based on your height. Under 5'7" and you should go with the xs/s."

"I'm 5'9 and 125 lbs. I bought the XS/S.
I will say that the poncho is definitely longer on me than the model. The longest part hits me almost at the bottom of my calf. I could imagine that if someone was a few inches shorter it might be close to dragging on the floor. But, I have been looking at TONS of ponchos with something specific in mind and this met it exactly. It lays beautifully on on my body, and doesn't look bulky like a lot of sweater material will. Might just end up being my favorite Fall/Winter piece!!"

"My aussie shepherd is the exact same color as this poncho so I'm accustomed to having a little fur on me here and there. I love this poncho so much that because of that I won't return it. It does shed like crazy. I'm hoping a wash cycle will take car of this problem. It's soooo pretty!"

"I really like this poncho. I have been looking for something like this for a while and am glad to have finally found it. As much as I like it, I do feel that it is overpriced, which is why I gave it four stars.
I find this poncho quite cozy and enjoy wearing it in mild fall weather. It is over-sized, but generally ponchos are not known to be form fitting and are meant to be more voluminous. If you like form fitted items, then perhaps a poncho is not for you. I am 5'9 with an athletic frame and did not feel that I was swallowed up by this poncho. The material is soft, though I will have to be careful not to snag it. I am happy with this buy despite the price, and look forward to many brisk autumn days spent in my cozy new poncho."

"I am very tall, and I must say the poncho looked terrific on me in the store. However, when I took it home and wore it, I found out that it shed all over everything !! I bought it in the light taupe color. I don't know if this would happen with the olive, but am afraid to try. Ended up returning the item."

"Like a previous reviewer said, it is not flattering. I really wanted to love it because it looks so cute in the picture, but I was disappointed with the way it fit, way too big and unflattering. I am an XS in free people sizes. Also I am 5'3" and it hit my calf. Way too long for me. I bought the "natural" color and was also disappointed in the quality. It looked like it could handle only one delicate wash and it would fall apart."

"So beautiful! An incredible addition for the fall. This poncho is very long in the back and higher in the front as pictured. It floats as you walk in it. It hangs beautifully! It is slightly fitted so it is not boxy at all! More for fashion than function, but it may block a bit of winter chill. I am not too concerned about snags. Both colors are rich and yummy! It will look great over leggings and boots, a short dress or jeans. Limitless options!"

"When I first saw this item online, I loved it but after pulling out of the bag, it was a different story. This piece is ginormous and looks like a sack with zero figure flattery. I'm between an XS and S in FP clothing. Other FP XS/S combined size pieces fit me fine. Unfortunately, I can't even see my hands when my arms are by my side. It hugs the shoulders nicely (as seen in 'natural' photo) but everything beyond is a mess...Too much material. Also, from the center seam, the left side had more material than the right, so the fit was a little off. Perks: Long, uneven at the bottom, fringe, multicolored threads, perfect weight for fall and for layering. If you must have this, you should definitely order the smallest size."
