Love-ish
6.18.2013
"I was so excited to receive this tank, in black, however I was hoping it provided more coverage on the sides. However I layered it with a colored basic strap tank and layered it under another top and I loved it! If you want to wear it as is I recommend ordering a size bigger! :-)"

Inconsistent Fit
6.16.2013
"I agree with the reviewer who said the old batch was better than the new. A month ago I got the Petal Pink and Dark Olive. I like to layer them under semi-sheer and low-cut blouses. They were working out so well that when I saw the new colors I immediately ordered the Dandelion. It has a different tag and it doesn't fit like the others. It's smaller, doesn't drape as nicely, and the way the arm holes cut inward in front is even more pronounced. This last detail makes for a less flattering fit."

Great for those bra-less days!
6.16.2013
"Bought this top in a local boutique, wore it to bed that night then work the next day! I am usually an XS in FP tops but i bought a small, it's all that was available. I love how soft the material is and how it flows. My one small issue is that I have to readjust the top pretty consistently, as the sides keep trying to expose my left side. Buying an XS would have probably taken care of that problem... Will be buying in another color!"

awesome top
6.15.2013
"I ordered this top and was hesitant because sometimes the flared out bottom makes a busty woman like me look heavy, but it was a really pleasant suprise that it wasn't too flared and the fit is beautiful. Light material but not light enough to see through. Went right back to FP site and ordered more colors immediately! fits true to size"

Great Staple
6.13.2013
"I've been looking everywhere for a chic black top that I can dress up or down, and this is the perfect one. I normally wear small, so I ordered a small in this top. It was a little loose, but nothing outrageous. Flowed nicely and very soft."

nothing special
6.13.2013
"It's okay. For $20.00, too much $. I believe it should have more going on. I needed a white shirt to wear now and then, but I haven't worn it yet. Maybe becuz this is nothing special and is easily forgotten; therefore, it lays buried in my closet never to be worn."

These Are Great
6.11.2013
"I have the olive and dandelion. The colors are rich and beautiful. The light weight material isn't too thin. It is a fuller cut, but not boxy. The shirt tails aren't too long either. The neckline is great with lots of jewelry or solo.Great by themselves or for layering. A basic staple piece."

6.6.2013
"I'm 5'3 120 lbs 34c , the xs fit perfect, I ordered in a medium originally looked sloppy , but when I was able to size down magic! I bought black, white, and olive think I will get egg plant too! A definite staple for summer great just loose around stomach and just long enough to tuck front bit in jeans! So glad I tried it again :) and the price crazy bargain."

So comfortable but....
6.6.2013
"Such a soft and comfortable tank in very pretty colors. My only complaint is the way the arm holes cut in and so are somewhat reveling in bust area. The tank cuts in so far that on me, I need an additional full cami or the lace crop underneath. I find it to fit just a little bit loose, for reference I am a 34-36 C/D and the medium fit me best. A plus was the length of the tank, I love how it is longer."

best basic tanks
6.6.2013
"these are pretty awesome. they're thin and light, but yet not super see-through. i don't feel overexposed even when i just have a bra underneath the white one. the cut is cute, with the neckline higher but not too high, and the shoulders cut in a bit so you can show up a cute bra or bandeau. the bottom is wider but not so much that it makes you look wide. the length is also great as it's not too cropped and not too long. it's basically a perfect tank. and you can't complain about the price. this is probably the best thing you can buy at the best price at fp. i got 2 and i already want more colors."

Great staple piece
6.6.2013
"The sizing is really more in between true to size and a little tight...I wouldn't call this top tight at all--just the top part comes in very narrow. I am usually a small in FP, but went with the Med in this and am happy that I did. It also swings out a lot more at the bottom than the picture really depicts. It's a lovely lighter fabric, but I wouldn't describe it as cheap in any sense of the word. It actually almost has a slight sheen to it. I purchased the olive green one, and I love it. I don't find it too sheer at all, especially with a nude (racerback style a must) bra. But I could foresee why the darker you go the more likely a bra will be seen through."

not for me
6.6.2013
"I'm 5'6" 140lbs 34C- M or L usually in FP tops. I went with M this time and it did not look good on me. The cut looked much better on my sister who is a couple inches shorter than me and very petite. Glad she loves it, but wish I could have pulled it off."

Good shape, poor weight fabric
6.6.2013
"Overall, I may still wear this tank because it'd be expensive to send back but I would not wear this other than to work out in or around the house. Quite see-through and poor quality fabric. Not what I expected. True to size, I'm 5"3', 110 pounds and size small fits comfortably."

Yesss...
6.3.2013
"Mixed reviews but first of all, best tank I've had in a while and it's only $20 bucks. Purchased the white, sz small and already washed it a few times with no problems. And once I ate mole (mexican dish) and left me with a few specks and luckily came out, phew. No complaints whatsoever, happy camper :)"

Super sheer, cheap in quality and price
5.31.2013
"I just got my tank today and I am confirming that this tank is definitely very sheer - must be from the new batch as someone else mentioned. Maybe its just me but my expectations based on the pictures were completely different from what I got: I was expecting a tank made from a thin, drapey material that was smooth, almost like a really lightweight jersey. What I got was a large(almost bulky) ribbed tank thats completely see through and doesnt drape as nicely as shown in the pic. The material is completely different - I dont know if any of you were expecting something similar to that.
Also I was confused when I opened the package it came in because it said "Long Beach Tank". Apparently there is no such thing as Long Beach tank here on the site, but whats with the wrong labelling? The silhouette is most definitely the same however. Anyhow, the material feels more like a ragged old Hanes wifebeater more than anything. If any of you have had an old, but loved Hanes wifebeater that has been through too many washes and just started thinning out - thats EXACTLY the way the fabric feels. BUT it is only $20... so I am keeping mine, despite the quality and sheerness and just overall lack of quality.... It doesnt feel like an FP typical top, but the price is also not typical FP. Im just going to grab a nice lace bra top or something to wear underneath. Just be warned before you buy.

The LA Nites Tank is labeled "Long Beach Tank" in our distribution center -- it is one and the same! The white tank can be sheer due to the distressing process that the material goes through.

Old batch good, new batch bad
5.25.2013
"I ordered the olive, white and black in small for the summer. This top is perfect for all kinds of outfits, and I was excited to get it. The olive is from the old batch and fits perfectly with only a minor amount of sheerness - not enough to see a bra though. The black and white are part of the new batch and both fit smaller - the white being completely see through. Why the change in fabric, FP? I'm definitely going to keep the Olive but am battling about the other two because they are technically inferior. Also noticed the RN# is the same but CA# is diff. It's a shame I didn't jump on these sooner during the first batch."

good quality
5.23.2013
"I'm 5'4" 125 lbs 34D and I got this is large in white and black. Good quality material and they fit me exactly as shown here. The black is non-see thru but the white is see-thru. I bought them to wear with skinny jeans and small blue jean jacket with suede smoking slipper type flats and it is a casual yet pulled together look for city site-seeing. They have many uses and could work well as sleeping top as well. Great travel piece."
