"i bought the last dress in turquiose in a size 8 because it was the last one avaliable and i had heard it ran small and i'm a size 4-6 in dresses and it fits well. the color was a lot darker than it looked like which was dissapointing but i still love the dress. doesn't look cheap. dress doesn't look that great on me, but that's because i have a wide waist. very sheer on the bottom."

"I love this dress! I got in turquoise a few weeks ago, and it has definitely come to good use. The great thing about it is that it is appropriate for any season, and can also be dressed down or up. The buts is a little too tight- I had to go a size up to a six, so if you plan to get this, you may have to go a few sizes up. I can't believe it went so fast! 2 different colors were bought of this dress while I was in the store! Overall, a very beautiful piece, and very much worth the money."

"i had my heart set on getting the grey, until i saw it right next to the turquoise...there was no comparison, the turquoise is sooo pretty! i tried on 2 sizes bigger than i'd normally get, and it still just fits around the chest. overall, it's a very pretty dress!"

"I bought this dress in turquoise and I could not be more pleased. I am usually a size small or 4-6 in Free People (size 28 in FP jeans), but usually for dresses I buy a size 6.
I am a 34B and the bust fits just right. The empire shape of this dress is very flattering and the silver beading and lurex detail give just the right amount of holiday sparkle. The overlay of the dress is a delicate dotted netting, and I love that this dress is machine wash and dry (easy care!). The dress is very lightweight and can be dressed up or down. I plan on wearing it to my company's holiday party with some heels and a cream-colored sweater shrug. Highly recommended!"

"This is now one of my favorite pieces of clothing. I have it in grey. I would say that it definetely is snug around the bust. I'm a 32B and I can usually fit in a 0 or 2 but in this i got a 4. So if you're larger in the bust i recommend buying a size up. One of the jewels around the midsection fell off already and i've only worn it once. But the extra jewels will come in handy! Overall I think this dress makes me feel like a princess and I definetly recommend buying it!!"

"Just like all the other reviews about this dress running smal, it is small. I am usually a 2 or 4 in dresses, but I got the 6 and it is still form fitting. Love it though and added a black layering slip like it the pic and makes it really cute. Was a bit love cut for my taste so the black layer helped."

"i bought this one size up (i usually wear a size 4) and it fit very well, perhaps a tiny bit still snug around the chest (anyone who is larger than an A cup should buy one size up). very feminine. eye-catching at parties. looks great with long sleeves to dress it down.
bottom line: do NOT miss the chance to buy this dress. it is BEAUTIFUL. i'm ecstatic i made to leap and bought it when i did."

"This is the ultimate fairytale dress! Like most others I think, I got the turquoise, and it's just exquisite! The details are phenomenal, and nothing about the glittery bits looks cheap or glitzy; just sweet and classy. Also to note: it's amazing how little difference there is between the sizes in this dress; when I first tried this on, I intended to get a 2 (my regular Free People dress size), but when I came back for it, all that was left was the 6, which also fit just fine. The bust is very small and revealing in the smaller sizes though, so I'd probably opt up a size straight away if you're large-chested."

"So pretty and great vintage detailing. I ordered it in the turquoise and it is a little darker than in the picture but still a great color. I've learned that a lot of Free People tops/dresses run small in the ribcage, so while I wear an extra small in knit tops, I usually fit best in a 6 in dresses. But even though it fits snugly in the ribcage area, I thought the bodice area was fairly accommodating."

"I own this dress in the turquoise. The black is cute, as well. I have a small bust and normally wear a size 0, but I had to bump up to a 2 because the chest area is so snug! It is cut lower than it looks in the picture, as well. So if you have a lot up top you might want to order a couple of sizes up."

"I'm a size 0-2 but because the dress runs really small around the dress, I had to order a size 4. I would probably have got with a size 6 though. No matter what size you get, the length of the dress remains relatively the same so order a size or two up or the chest area will be pretty tight."

"I received my gray dress yesterday and I love it. It fits really well. I got my usual Free People size because I am narrow up top but I think if one is broader in the upper body or chest, she may want to go up a size. Otherwise it might be hard to take on and off.
Adorable detailing. Great alone or layered. I wear my stars hoody from last year's collection in olive with gray tights and my Faryl Robin buckle boots in gray suede and it's a really cute outfit. I also wear my gray holiday slip underneath because even with the 2 layers, it is see through."

"This is such a girly dress! It's so pretty on and very flattering! I recommended my best friend buy it for her 21st birthday and it fit perfectly! She felt very comfortable and beautiful in it. I also love that it comes in really great colors. However, definitely try it on because it runs a little small in the chest. "this dress is beautiful! although the beading may seem a little weird in the picture, it is beautiful. in the picture it does not look good at all though. i got this in silver. in the picture, they put it over a black dress. i would not layer this. but i got it for homecoming and can't wait to wear it. it does run tight on the chest area. however that is great for i am pretty flat and this is the first dress to ever fit my chest and make my body look great."
