Beautiful Bag but doesn't close well
2.1.2013
"If you're looking for a bag that looks like a backpack but don't intend to fill it with a lot of things, then this is the bag for you. If you really need a cool functional backpack this one has its issues. IT DOES NOT CLOSE PROPERLY!!!! If you have barely anything in it then you're fine because it will collapse in on itself and not gape open. If you have a lot of items in it, it will gape open and someone could reach in and get items out that are near the top. On the plus side, it is a beautiful fabric. I don't understand why the designer didn't create a hidden magnetic clasp if they were worried about sacrificing the design. The only thing you have to hold it closed is the thin leather strap. in the picture. The model has her bag most likely filled with paper to give you an idea of dimensions. So don't be fooled by the picture about how well this will close. I wish I had listened to the other reviews that said it has issues with closing properly. Returning item."

over priced

"I was so excited about this bag, but when i got it, i think they sent me the one that the girl in the review below had returned! one of the straps is all mangled and curled up, also the horizontal leather strap that you hook the closure strap through is hanging on by a thread on one side. expected better quality and quality control by freepeople for $130"

Wanted to love it - but faulty
11.28.2012
"I really like the look of this bag which i bought use for uni. It fits my 13inch macbook pro both horizontally and vertically with room to spare for other books and what not. The fabric is thick and sturdy, and the colour is more brown than olive as shown in the picture. However the bag can't really be closed properly with the strap.
The only downfall for me is that one of the straps on the bag is all shrunken and mangled, as if been exposed to heat. I can't adjust the mangled strap and it looks really ugly. I expect way better quality from a bag of this price."

Not was I was hoping for

"I just received this bag and I actually did not like it. It does not close well and is just a little too ugly for me. It is also larger and heavier than I thought. Sadly I will be returning it."
