What.
5.16.2013
"Given that I am short, at around 5'2", with a short torso, I decided to give this slip a chance and ordered it in an XS to wear as a dress. Yes, I was wary of the length mentioned in other reviews, but I figured on my small frame it wouldn't be an issue.
For me, the length would have been perfect and I would have loved to have worn this as a light summer dress...if it weren't for the see through panel right in the middle of the crotch!! In the online photos, you can see the lace part, but it is not apparent that it is completely sheer.
I mean, what is that? Who in the world thought it was a good idea, other than someone who likes flashing their unmentionables around?
Other than that, this slip is really beautiful. It has gorgeous, fluttery lace detailing, and is very flattering on. In person, the sand color is a really nice creamy rose. Unfortunately for me, this isn't enough to save it, so I will be returning.
If this doesn't bother you, or you envision wearing this as with leggings or shorts, then feel free!"

Not for a larger chest
5.13.2013
"I waited for this to come back in stock and was really excited to get it in the mail today. It completely flattens my chest (32 E). Normally FP slips are so roomy that this isnt a problem but this one is unforgiving of a larger bust. So sad!"

love the dress, hate the quality.
4.23.2013
"I really like this. It can be work as a very short dress, but certainly not without tights or leg gins :) Perfect for layering.
The quality is quite poor though. I hand washed this item twice and the color is fading and it looks like it's going to fall apart in some places :("

Lovely!
4.17.2013
"I absolutely love this tunic. I bought it to wear as a dress which works for me because I am not super tall but I honestly think it would work for anything (super cute for layering in winter or by itself in summer). The only down side is it runs quite large. There is a lot of room in the top and it hangs off my shoulders so is pretty low cut. But I love it anyways! Great purchase."

Pretty for layering

"I don't think I could wear this tunic by itself because of the loose way it fits. I needed to put a little tank under it. It is a pretty tunic not the most amazing thing ever. But it is pretty sweet."

"I ordered this in the raspberry color in an xs, for reference I am 5"3, 107lbs, 34b. This piece hit my chest right about where it hits on the model but that didnt bother me cause I like a little lace bra peeking out, however because it is super short in the front where the lace hits, you do have to wear something under it so you're not exposed. I wore the black seamless slip under it and it was perfect,, you could even do the seamless romper under this as well. The raspberry color is pretty similar to what is shown in the picture. I received a ton of compliments on this piece when worn casual over a pair of skinny jeans with ballet flats and also when worn with the black slip dress under it with mary jane high heels. Very girly cute... cant wait to wear this with my frye boots next!"

HUGE
3.21.2013
"I loved the look of this dress online, but was disappointed when it arrived. I am 5"5, 110 lbs and ordered an xs in the sand color. The dress is huge around the bust and waist, and hangs on me like a bag. It is also short to the point that I would worry about showing my undies. I really wish it would have fit true to size and been longer because it is a beautiful dress otherwise."

The straps make the tunic look juvenile and cheap. Neckline not flattering.

Great for a romantic night out
2.28.2013
"They say this dress is lingerie, but I disagree. I think it's a great little date night dress. I'm 5 3 curvy/athletic & it fits me exactly like the picture. I highly recommend getting the bra in the picture or the something to go under this dress because it is LOW CUT."

Oh my
2.28.2013
"Well, this is an adorable little piece. It is very delicate, and it hangs lightly when worn. very pretty. but I have to say, the straps are ridiculously LONG! they are adjustable straps, but they don't do it for me. at the shortest length, my girls are peeking out! and not just a little bit! looks a bit awkward (for me) with a bandeau or something under. looks adorable with a sweater thrown over it. I am 5'5", ~110lbs, with this in XS. i adore it enough to work with it, just take off an inch of the pretty floral straps, but it definitely took me by surprise."

Dark Woodland Gypsy...but size down!!
2.26.2013
"It is very pretty, the black lace on the bottom makes the dress majestic and feminine, but also dark. I wore it and someone told me I looked like a gypsy! Definitely a compliment. A little overpriced though... also make sure to size down one."

Undecided
2.26.2013
"I bought this dress in the raspberry color in an xs. I am 5'2" - 32 a/b chest. The material is really beautiful and the dress is certainly unique!! BUT I am short and the layering hits me right in the hips, making me look wider in the hips than I already am. (the front of the dress is short and has lace, so it is see through - you would have to wear some sort of cute undies or leggings underneath - FP makes plenty of those so not to worry). It is in my closet for now but not so sure it will stay there :-/"

Perfect little slip
2.19.2013
"This slip has become my favorite dress. Being short, this dies fit as a nice dress with a pair of biker shorts thrown underneath. I absolutely love it! The raspberry color look particularly lovely if your a tom boy who usually doesn't wear florals or lace. The colors make the slip a great "Lou" piece!"

Original, fun dress
2.19.2013
"I would recommend this dress to anyone. I got the "raspberry" (would rather say plum), and it's great, both in colour and fabric. I think it feels luxurious and pretty! It IS a bit short in the middle, I'm 5,7 (171 cm) and 125 lbs (57 kg), it does cover the important parts but barely, really. Fortunately the longer sides of the dress makes it seem all-over longer and I don't get the impression that it looks silly short. So, I will wear it as a dress as soon as the weather allows it!"

gorgeous, but too short
2.16.2013
"I tried this on in an XS (I'm 104lbs, 5'6'', 30DD) at a store today. I did not find it too big like other posters mentioned, it's definitely loose but still skims my hips in a flattering way. I am a proud owner of about 6+ FP slips, I understand most need to be layered with something, and love that they are all long enough to wear as dresses - but this one is NOT long enough to be a dress. the A-symmetrical look is cool but the high arch in the middle literally falls just over my crotch (and that piece of fabric is see-through lace) and barely covers my bum. (I'm almost 5'6'') - which is a huge bummer. I'm not one of the people who like to wear FP slips with pants, it's just too much for me. I prefer to wear the slips with knee-high socks and boots with a sweater or jacket and am really bummed I cant do it with this one - because I adore the charcoal/plum color. Maybe I'll be able to find a bodycon dress or skirt in the same color so it works because I love this slip so much. I might end up getting it as night gown because I love it that much, but it'd be a shame if it never got see outside my bedroom!"

Soft and romantic
2.13.2013
"I bought this tonight on a very random whim after I wasn't entirely sure I would like it... But the clerk working at the store suggested it, and I absolutely fell in love. I matched the purple color with the black Scallop Edge Crop top under it to make it a little more presentable, and the 5 pocket knit pants on the bottom, and it would look absolutely stunning with a tight black leather jacket! So, for the piece itself, it is definitely big. I had to get the medium only because of my 36D chest! Without the chest, I definitely could have worn an XS and still had room to spare. The chest area does hang rather low (which is why I felt that I needed the crop top under it if I were going to wear it as a shirt), and I'm not a huge fan of the flowers on the straps, but the bottom with the lace absolutely makes up for that. The lace does add some weight to the bottom, which makes it much more flattering. I usually can't wear anything with this loose-fitting shape, but the bottom was heavy enough that it made me not look tent-like! I will probably still belt it under the bust to make my shape more noticeable, but it's definitely not necessary, and it's an extremely slimming piece. I think I could ALMOST get away with wearing it as a dress, but would probably need a tight bodycon skirt under it. Looks dreamy when paired with the white Rhiannon skirt - the bottom is longer on the sides for the shirt, but with that skirt, the bottom is longer in the middle, so they contrast nicely. Try it! I love it."

Just Lovely
2.12.2013
"This slip is beautiful! I love all the little details, like the inset lace at the hem and the flowers on the bodice. I am 5'4", 125 pounds and wear a 34-B. Usually I'm a small in FP stuff but I bought this in medium because I was afraid the small would be too short. It does run large, but I like the length of the medium so will probably just have the straps shortened a bit So far I haven't been able to wear it anywhere because it's TOO COLD here, but I love its voluminous drape and slinky fabric and can't wait for spring!"

gorgeous
2.7.2013
"I went to the store and bought this in the Sand color in a size Small and it is so gorgeous. I'm 5'6" 125 pds 34 DD and it fits great! I tried on the XS as well and it was too tight in the bust area and too short, since there is that lace piece in the crotch and back. I know some people may have a problem with those areas and feel like their junk is hanging out but i'm just going to wear a fitted skirt underneath as backup. The straps are adjustable, so with the Small I got, I loosened them up so I could wear a natural color lace bandeau bra I got to go with it. I would say that it does run a little big, but I feel like a lot of their stuff does. I'm usually a size medium in other stores but here I always have to size down. Either way, this dress is beautiful and I can't wait to wear it when it gets warmer out."
