"Tried this slip on in store and loved it. One thing though: runs a bit loose so size down and if you're petite like myself just picture it with some cute wedges or chunky heels to give some definition. Quite a bit of material for small gals but loved it all the same.

"I bought this at a local boutique, one of the many pieces from free people fashion I have bought in the past. I wear a shorter tops over the slip and love it. I wish the boutique could carry additional sizes and selection of Free People, because I love to wear Free People fashion and don't care to wait over 10 days for my online order to be delivered when other on line company offer free shipping in 5 days."

"I adore this dress. It is the 1st thing by free people i have ever see. I tried it on and just had to have it.
I am curvy (5'9 and size 12 even pushing 14 if fitted d38) This fits in the bust perfectly that fact alone thrilled me. It flares away form the body so that i belt it but thats up to you looks nie left loose too. I was very happy the large fits me wonderful even roomy I adore it with a slip under it so girly femmy pretty (the lace would sorta show ur butt if you didn't wear one) it also pairs great with leggings jeans and shorts love it.... GET ONE in like every colour. I can soo see living in this breezy wonderfully detailed lil dress .... i will be adding pics asap i just have not taken any yet....HAPPY SHOPPING"

"I ordered this dress in an XS online with the acknowledgement that it would be roomy and flowy, which is just what I wanted. Unfortunately, it is just TOO BIG. I am 5'5" with a narrow frame, but like many of FP's dresses in the last year or so, this has been sized inappropriately. FP might consider selecting clothing from vendors that offer an XXS in the future."

"I LOVE this item. I would recommend trying it on in stores, or being prepared to send it back though. I am athletic build, usually a 4-6 in tops and a 6-8 in bottoms... In this particular dress, I got an XS, and it's still roomy.
Be warned: this dress is SHEER. But perfect for a beach cover up, or any festival you might attend. Also great for layering. I chose the lemon color and it's great... opting for the mint next!"

"I really wanted to love this top but it just didn't work for me. I chose the dusky lilac and it looked like i had washed a white with a red mix. It was very crumpled and just didn't lie well. It looked like an old nightie on me!"

"This is beautiful. I was nervous about sizing because I wanted to wear this as a dress. I'm 5'4 115 lbs and the small fit perfectly. The front and back fall just below my fingertips and the sides are a few inches above my knees. I originally wanted the mint but it was sold out :( so I opted for the Lemon combo instead. I think it is more yellow than pictured, which makes it even prettier. I have blonde hair and am fair to medium complected, and the color does not wash me out like most yellows do. It is definitely sheer. I have the cream colored seamless romper which I plan to wear under this. It is loose and flowy, and very flattering in my opinion. It looks similar on me as it does on the model, just slightly longer. I think this will look perfect this summer as a dress and transition nicely into fall with jeans or leggings. Overall this is fabulous and I am going to order another color!"

"This is a great slip for layering. Just needs another layer underneath first and then over pants, over shorts, over leggings, just as a dress or a top over it. I have the mustard and black. The first slip I purchased in a medium. There is alot of extra fabric at the sides where it hangs. The second one I sized down to a small. In general, a bit baggy/loose/flowing fit."

"I am 5'4" 125 lbs 34 D and I purchased these in tea, white and smoke in large. They fit exactly as they do on models. I have antique Victorian petticoats and straight maxi skirts and these, layered over lacy camis and delicate fp cardigans, shawls, etc. look wonderful. They also are great over leggings so talk about versatile! Love them. Will get blue and pale green next."

"I bought the Cream at nordstrom this fall and Just ordered and received the Royal Blue, the White/ Grey and the Lilac from free people. I LOVE THIS SLIP. The item I bought at nordstrom actually fit me a bit longer which I like for the winter :) I am 5 feet tall, weigh about 120 and am fairly athletic, and I had to buy the small because I am busty ( 34c and wide shoulders). However, I would say that if I wasn't so busty I would definitely get the extra small. I suggest you get extra small if you have similarly stats to me but have a smaller bust. Enjoy!"

"I LOVE this slip. It is probably one of my favorite things I have ever purchased from Free People. You can dress it up and dress it down. When it's cooler outside, I wear it over leggings and when it's hot I wear it as a dress or top with shorts! I always get so many compliments on it. I want it in EVERY color. This product runs true to size. I'm 5'8, 34C and fit perfectly in the small. Be careful when washing! I had this slip for about two months and hand washed it (I never put it in the dryer) and a hole developed in the seam around the neckline. However, I brought it back to the store and they exchanged it for me! Thanks Free People!"

"I have this in the tea, mint, & white combo. The tea is a cream/tea color as described. It's a beautiful color. The mint is a little brighter then pictured but pretty close. Very pretty. The white is as pictured. I love them all. I'm 5 6" 110 lbs. and the xs is perfect. Very versatile piece of FP. I love the way the slip flows. I wear mine with some jean shorts or bike shorts or regular jeans and it all works!"

"I am 5'0 and 115 lbs. I got this in the black in an XS because it runs big. I love the fit, it's very baggy and flowy which I was unsure about at first but after wearing it around vegas and snapping pics in it I realized that the cut is actually really flattering because the trapeze shape hangs just right over your body and you can tell it is meant to fit that way. The loose fit is great for fat days. I have large boobs and found the dress to be more flattering with a bandeau as anything with push-up makes it hang out too far from the body and make you look bigger. I gave it 4 stars because I thought the fabric quality to be cheap for the price."

"I am 5'2 and have a curvy hourglass figure. I usually wear a large but the medium fits best for me. I wear mine as a tunic because its too short in the front otherwise. The back comes down to about mid thigh. I never thought this slip would work for me but I now have two. The first is in Dusty Lilac and I just bought the Lemon Combo today! The fabric for both is very soft, polka dotted, and a bit sheer. It's very sweet and feminine. These are my first purchases from Free People and I don't regret it. If you're considering this slip but not sure about it for your body type, this curvy girl recommends it!"
