"Granted, these boots are not as worn as they are in the photo, but that really doesn't bother me much. I actually really love these boots. They are super well made, durable and look pretty fabulous with a pair of rolled up slouchy boyfriend jeans. I'm also thinking they'll give a great tomboy look to a girly dress, like the Floral Mesh Lace dress. As far as the fit goes, I found the sizing to be slightly on the large side. I probably could have gone down to a size 9.5, but definitely not a 9. They may be expensive, but these babies are gonna last."

"I agree with the last reviewer on the fit. These do run a bit big. They are a unisex brand so they are plenty wide, so order a size down. The finish is different than in the pic, but keep in mind, these are a boot that is made to be worn in, scuffed up.
What the description doesn't show is that these are made with recycled rubber soles and the piece up the back of the heel is also repurposed rubber. That is NOT to say that they are cheaply made, because they aren't. If you like the style and you need something you can wear in rain and mud, these are the ticket. My daughter has a horse and I needed boots that were tough enough to handle hanging around in a barn/arena and these are perfect. There are also some cool details, like three little rivets/studs up the outside of the front, turquoise lining inside, and a yellow suede pull tab that actually works to help pull them on. It has little grommets which are a nice touch. If the finish was exactly like the photo, I'd give them five stars. I've been wearing mine several times a week for two months or more, and they have worn in nicely, but not worn out one bit. They will last years and years, and are worth the money."

I wanted these for months.....

"I had been waiting for months for someone to post a review on these. I even contacted the company trying to get an idea of sizing bcz only whole sizes. I am a 6.5( rarely I will take a 6, but only one brand of shoe do i wear a 7) so I wanted to know if they ran big or not. The companies advice was to size up. WRONG!!! they run big Ladies. I ordered the 6 and have tons of room, I would say half to a whole size. I opened the box to find the color is completely different, it's more a mat finish the color is a beige, putty, flat color. Not the beautiful golden brown in the picture.The cut is not as pictured and I realize hand made boots won't be exactly the same, but these are not flattering. The whole point of loving these boots was due to them not being perfect and having flaws. These boots don't look distressed they look cheap... They look so different and I am so disappointed. One is like an entire inch WIDER then the other. In my opinion they are not even worth keeping if they were half off. I am so disappointed, I just want the boots pictured. So sad :( and now back to the endless hunt for a boot such as the one in the picture. Ladies if they all look like the ones I just got don't waste anymore time on these. Now I have to waste time returning them, and they are such a waste of time."
