"This dress is great!!! It's lighter than I thought it would be but I like that a lot better. The blue is great and the details on it are not too busy..I have worn it once and I was asked by a ton of people where I got it..most of them touched it to feel the material. I am very happy with my purchase. It is a bit roomy but in a good way...can we say layer : ) The waist is dropped perfectly.. I LOVE IT!"

"The dress is exactly the colors in the photo, colors were correct. The bottom of the dress, however is narrower than the top, so does not fit me as pictured. I am disappointed, but will attempt to alter the dress to fit, by making it a tunic with side slits. Shoulders fit quite roomy, too big."

"So, we're going in to Spring over here in Melbourne, Australia. And I thought a denim shirt-dress would be *perfect* for those days when it's not-too-hot but not-too-cold. I saw this on Free People and *loved* the popping blue, so snatched one up straight away (even though there were no reviews posted as yet).
A few days later I was trawling through Free People again, admiring their large denim collection, when I started reading reviews and noticed a common theme of people denouncing the denim colour as pictured, versus the reality of the item. I started to worry a little, about my denim dress in the mail.
Never mind that I was dismayed to log on and see the dress I'd bought for $144 was now reduced to $87 (GRRR. Don't you *hate* that!?!). Still, I waited patiently for my item to arrive ... and when it did, MAJOR disappointment.
Admittedly, from the photo, you can tell that this dress is going to have an awkward shape (with a low-hanging cinch and part-way buttons). But it was the *colour* I loved. That sky-blue denim is *NOT* how it looks in person. I don't know what sort of wizard-warlock lighting magic Free People use when photographing these models, but as you can see in the pic the actual dress is just a run-of-the-mill, take-it-or-leave-it nothing special denim.
Totally bummed. *sigh*. I'm going to dress this shirt dress up with tall brown boots and crazy gypsy jewellery to distract from its overall ho-humness."
