"I lusted for these pants the minute I saw them. I kept going back to them and imagining them on me, but I just could not justify the price without trying them on. Being in Brooklyn last week-end, I made a trip to the FP 5th Ave location and was able to finally satisfy my craving and was sooooo disappointed. Now, I am the kind of shopper with a lot of imagination and I sew. If something is not perfect and I lust it, I can usually find a way to fit the lusted for item in my wardrobe, but there was no way these pants would ever look good on me. The crotch and the butt did not hang nicely like in the photos. I looked like I had a large depend diaper on and that was not the look I was going for. I have other harem pants in my wardrobe of varying fabrics that I have bought on my travels and I love them. These pants were not going to friend them in my closet. The pants were made well enough and they fit true to size. I am glad I had a chance to try them on and did not order online."

"I love these pants! I got the xs and I am 5'4 and 113 for reference and they fit perfectly. They have a side zipper and also a drawstring to tighten them. I got the black pair and the colors are not quite as vibrant as in the photos but they are still fun."

body type:long and lean
Cute in pictures, but not in person
"I saw these pants online and instantly fell in love with the Peach Tie Dye color. However, when I received them in the mail they were not at all what I expected. The pants fit around the waist and and length was perfect but the draping in the crotch did not fall in the elegant way that the pictures portrayed. The way that the fabric folds is incredibly unflattering. Based on other reviews, the pants work for some people but for me they looked terrible."
"It's not hyperbole when I say these are the coolest pants in the universe. They looked like cotton online, but they in fact feel and drape like silk. I'm size 27/28 in jeans and the small fits perfectly. I Struggled to get these on, thought I'd have to return it, but discovered at the end of the day there's a side zipper :) however, no pockets. Pants like these are in dire need of pockets."
"I bought these pants (against my better judgement) based on the great catalog shot. I am so glad that I did. The color and the drape of the fabric are both spot on. The fabric looks and feels like silk but is viscose... is that rayon? The web shots make these pants appear MUCH lighter than they are. I am wearing them with the FP Rain Drop shirt - it is called something else now, but is long sleeved hi-lo - and a tape yarn pull over from many summers ago. I chose flat ankle boots that are are not "anlkly" enough. Not wearing boots with these again. There is a side zipper that I keep forgetting about: I am wearing size small and am 5'8" 125 lbs. They run a bit biggish."
