THis is a substantial piece. It does have some weight to it but not bothersome. Its a bright silver {but not overly shiny} . Basically, what you see is what you get!

"I received this necklace in the mail today, and it is totally gorgeous! The silver metal is of a good mid weight and it has a matte texture to it. The one I received looks pretty much like a twin to the online images. It does jingle when you wear it, and just adds to the charm. Because of the open link of the chain, you can adjust the length to your heart's desire. Very eyecatching and beautiful. I am looking forward to wearing this all year round!"
