"i really wanted these and the last size they had in stock was a half size too big. i decided to try them nonetheless, and while they do work, i have to wear really heavy socks. so i would definitely say go with your normal size. i bought these in black and while they are cute, i don't think that they are of the best quality leather. also, the buckles on the front make a lot of noise when i walk, that sort of bothers me. overall they are a good pair of boots, just not really worth the price."

"I love these! My sister has them in the dark brown in a 7! I'm a 6 and can pass wearing them. If you love these boots and they don't have your size I wouldn't worry about going a size up. Now that they're on sale I'm getting a pair of my own in black. They're fun, they go with pretty much anything, and a they're good fit. I definitely suggest purchasing them."

Perfect short boots

"I have these boots in brown, size 9. They are actually called Boutique 9 Cathy boots, but for some reason they're called Anna here. I'm normally an 8.5 in Boutique 9 shoes, but I ordered a half size up based on the reviews. They are somewhat narrow and I found them tight over the top of my foot. However, after walking around in them for a while they started to stretch. Now they feel perfectly fine. I like them so much that I'm considering buying them in black and grey!"

"These are definitely cute but I looked at the other reviews and ordered my regular size. MISTAKE! They are too roomy. I always wear a size 7 and am having to return them for a 6&1/2. I had socks on but they just are slipping and are too long. I still want them, just want them to fit. I hope the half size will do it."

"I saw the reviews that said this boot ran small, so I got a half size up-my feet just barely fit into them. I should have gotten a full size up. Other than the size, they are beautiful and the brown leather is gorgeous in person. Hopefully the next size up will come back in stock so I can exchange them!"

"I bought these for myself in black and my mom ordered them for me in brown for Christmas. I am very happy to have gotten them before my size sold out. They're short enough to not get on my nerves (like taller boots do) but not too short to look dumb with skirts/leggings/socks etc.
About the fit.. I wear a size 9 and always have. I have a very narrow thin foot, almost bony. These boots are snug across the top of my foot. I can slip them on without unzipping but I have a feeling if you have a wider foot they may not be the shoe for you. All though I do know leather stretches out with regular wear. They're worth the money (and that from someone who hates to spend more than $100 on shoes)"

"My mom surprised me with these boots in grey. They fit to size, but if you're wearing heavier socks for the winter, I'd do up half a size. They're so comfortable, and the material is soft, and movable."
