Vintage Wine Leather Biker Jacket
Beautiful distressed wine colored leather biker jacket. Zip front closure with two front zipper pockets. Buckle detailing on each bottom side and at front of collar. Zippers at each sleeve hem. Lined. Leather feels and looks super soft and luxurious.

"This is my first purchase from Free People & its a winner for me. I'm 5'3" 115Lb and bought size UK 10. I couldnt have chosen a more perfect size. I am petite, small busted, lean but definitely NOT long. I dont have the smallest upper arms though & often have trouble with jackets fitting tightly around upper arms & shoulders. This jacket was a little snug but already after wearing it just the once, the leather has 'given' slightly to fit in those areas perfectly now. This is such soft & supple leather that it allows this gentle stretching in the right places & therefore in a short space of time, fits snuggly but perfectly to my shape & you cant ask for anything better than fitting to your shape! The colour to me is just as described in the description. I have a small waist & the lovely feminine shape of this jacket accentuates this feature nicely even when unzipped! As the first review that was left describes, it does have what seems to be, plently of material around the top when zipped up but I dont usually have many of my jackets completely zipped up often, open & casual is more me & therefore do not notice the excess layers/leather. I can imagine if you are bigger busted & like your jackets completely zipped up most of the time, this may not be the most suitable style for you. This is my first Muubaa purchase, its such an awesome jacket that I will certainly be looking at more of this brand in the future."

"Well, the color is not exactly like aged wine. It's more a blend of distressed terra-cotta and cranberry, but regardless, it's delicious! Determining my perfect fit was the greatest challenge in ordering this jacket. I generally wear XS/2 in Free People sizing, but in Muubaa, the UK 12/ US 8 turned out to be the winner. For reference, I'm 5'9" tall, 118 lbs., 33-25-34, and long-limbed. As the previous reviewer alluded, the jacket does fit as snugly as shrink wrapping, and probably does wear best on long, lean body types. I have a couple of other Muubaa jackets, and each seems to fit differently, requiring constant re-figuring on the sizing translation. This can be frustrating, but I find these jackets worth the effort. The leather is so supple; the detailing delightfully intricate; the zippers and hardware are well-constructed and long-lasting; the styling is timelessly satisfying, and this one is no exception. It is lightweight, however, so I find it best to layer it under a coat for winter and wear it as an alternative to a sweater when inside. The arms are long, and with zippers at the wrists, there are plenty of options for accessorizing with bracelets, cuffing, or scrunching the sleeves. I think that my favorite attribute of this jacket is the fitted back. With just enough curvature in the waistband, it makes a very graceful sweep and accentuates the elegant line of a woman's lower back. Muubaa is really exploring the possibilities of femininity in leather. Kudos!!"

funny fit...i felt gift wrapped...

"am 5'3, 106 lbs and 32 B and got this one in UK 6, my regular size, in muu baa too..uh-oh. really tight around the chest and the sleeves rather long....the jacket wrapped around my chest in the most unflattering way, tons of extra leather in the wrap here. Sizing up would not help my feeling of being wrapped in too many layers of leather. Color more brick color in 'person', not so much vintage wine as i had hoped-perhaps due to variations in the dye or my monitor. Perhaps best for really slender long-torsoed persons, definately not me.
