"This is a light-weight jacket, fitted in all the right places. The colors are more accurate in the darker photos shown."

Not for a Swiss winter?
11.15.2012
"I bought his coat for a trip to Switzerland in the winter but when it arrived I realised it's not as thick and warm as I was expecting.
I still love it and will definitely keep it.
I find the colour is more like the darker photos, which is what I was hoping for.
I bought a size 2 and it seems like a true 2. I'm 5ft2'', 54kg and usually buy a FP XS. I probably could have fit into a 0 but I wanted room for layering underneath.

fitted jacket
10.27.2012
"i find this to fit exactly true to size, which looks great if you wear it open. if i wear it closed, it still fits because the material has some stretch to it, but it looks a bit like sausage casing. i stuck with my regular size because i don't like exaggerated puffy shoulders, but i hardly even notice them here. the color is darker like the studio shots rather than the catalog shot. the material has a bit of a weight to it, is structured, but isn't super thick. i'm still able to wear my winter coat over it when it's cold. i worried that the buttons were gonna look cheap and ruin the look, but they look fine and give the coat some character."

Great jacket
10.18.2012
"I really like this jacket. My only complaint is that the pockets enter from the top and not the side. I understand that it doesn't bulge on the sides, but I still like side pockets. Otherwise, it's super soft and seems to be good quality. I love that it's unique. I looked all over for something like this for the price."

She's a Lady
10.6.2012
"I think this coat is a sleeper among all of the fun coats that FP has been sending out our way this season. For once, the catalog shot captures the true colors of the coat more so than the darker studio shots. I noticed that FP's jackets seem to be on the smaller side especially through the shoulders recently, so instead of ordering my normal size 2, I ordered a size 4 and am glad that I did. The fabric is soft and has a little stretch to it, which makes it very comfortable to wear. The sleeves are only slightly puffed which adds just a touch of girly. The collar, pocket flaps and cuffs are a solid black corduroy. The smooth quilted lining is also black, and is made of 80% polyester and 20% cotton. I live in Alaska, and I consider this coat to be more midweight than heavyweight. The buttons are vintage looking in a matte gunmetal color, and I love how they even added buttons to the cuffs. You can barely see it in the photos, but there is a small 5" centered vent in the back for ease of movement. This is a really nicely made slightly fitted coat. I wore it today with a tee, black skinnies, and my black Studded Joe Tall Boots. If you are looking at a size 4, here are the dimensions of the one I received:
length from back of neck: 32"
length across back of shoulders: 15"
bust all around: 36"
bottom opening all around: 46"
sleeve length from shoulder seam: 25"
