Time in A Bubble Necklace
Mixed metal chain link necklace with bubble clock charm. Charm has clock face in front and the back has viewable clock interior. Tassle charm below clock. Bubble in charm does move but does not spin around. Lobster claw closure.

"While this necklace is very cute, the construction is weak in many areas. What most concerns me is the part that the clock swivels on; it is designed like a pair of pinchers that are supposed to hold the clock in place, but already my clock has popped right out of it. I guess you get what you pay for with this necklace."

A Charming Time Piece

"The first one was broken, so I sent it back. Very quickly, I received a replacement (Thank You, Free People!) and I'm quite charmed with it! It does, indeed, keep time, but you do have to wind it regularly. So old fashioned! However, I am concerned about the jump ring that links the watch to the chain. It seems kind of weak and could break easily, so I may replace it, just to be on the safe side. Otherwise, it's a charming time piece, worth the price!"

"This necklace is so cute I had to have it immediately. To the reviewer who is having trouble setting it-- simply pull out the little winding knob slightly and it will let you set it. As stated before, the clock actually works! The only downside to this is that some of the links are kind of weak for the weight of the necklace, so the clock pendant might come off if you're not careful."

Very unusual, stunning non-battery operated clock

"I love this necklace! I just purchased it today after lusting them as I wandered around the store. The great thing about this clock is that it uses a self-winding mechanism to have the clock tick (no need to change the battery since there is none). The bad thing is that I have NO IDEA how to get the time adjusting to the correct time since the turner is used to make the clock work. The glass on both the front and back of the clock are domed so the entire thing is shaped like sphere (and the glass acts like a magnifier on the clock face). The glass clock does turn vertically, but doesn't do a full rotation because the little tassle prevents that. It's really quite beautiful with the different chains and I love the length. I just really, really wish I could get the time right (I want it to be functional too!). Maybe I'll let the winder stop and wait until the time is right to wind it up again...."
