"When i got this in the mail i was so excited to see it! It is so pretty i love it! The color in the picture looks darker then the actual color in real life... in person it is a purply red ( the dark stripes) and the lighter red stripes are a little oranger...
...it fits true to size but i have really long arms and they are almost too short but i think thats how they are suppose to be!"

the fit is so flattering. the cut of the arms, the swing in the waist--all adorable.
the dart in the back is MUCH different than it is in photos here--it starts way up high around the shoulderblades. cute nonetheless, but perhaps the photos should actually show the way the coat looks (AHEM, freepeople!!!)

my only complaint is that straight outta the bag, this very expensive coat had a GAPING HOLE in the seam of the right arm...for this much moolah, a giant hole in a main seam shouldn't exist.
if it weren't so easy to fix, or so cold out already, i'd send it back for an exchange that someone actually inspected before they mailed it out. hmmmm take a hint here, folks."

"i tried on this coat at a free people store but they only had a size 2 (which i normally wear) but it was rather big and looked frumpy. But i loved the coat and it is indeed warm and comfy so i ordered a size 0 online and it fits perfect with still enough room to put on a sweater underneath. can't wait for the colder weather in southern california, so i can wear it!"

"Adorable, comfortable, soft, warm, great fit. I cannot say enough. I love it. Tons of compliments. Beautiful quality. I usually wear a 6 in FP coats but got this in a 4 and it's perfect. I was afraid I might look frumpy but actually it looks amazing."

"When I saw this jacket in the catalog, I was kind of skeptical of the swingy shape keeping me warm. I was pleasantly surprised--this jacket is FANTASTIC and I'm so so in love with it. I cannot wait for fall so I can wear it all the time!! The part in the back where it gaps (this might be called a dart... I don't really know clothing terminology well) actually hits high up on my back (like, a little above where my bra clasps) instead of in the center of my back (like it does in the picture). I like the way the back of mine looks better anyway, but it's a definite distinction. Oh, and it runs really big... I'm almost always a six in FP jackets and I got a four in this one, so sizing down might be a good idea. :) Definitely, definitely a good purchase!!"

"At first glance this jacket loooks pretty ordinary. But I ordered it anyway. So glad I did . I ordered the grey plaid. This jacket is so great on.Cute detail on the buttons. Can't wait for cool nights, because I will look Hot."
