Awesome shoes
8.22.2012
" These shoes are great. I bought the black/grey. I get a ton of compliments. I ordered a 6 1/2, which is my normal size, and the are a little snug, which ends up being perfect so I can wear them without the laces. Love the preppy but bold look to them. My new favorite shoes. "

Coolest Shoes at the Cottage!
6.26.2012
" These shoes are amaaaazing! Everyone's wearing Sperrys this summer and they are practical but soooo boring so when I saw these shoes I knew they were perfect for the cottage and outdoor summer parties and bonfires, etc. I have gotten so many compliments on them!
I got a size 6 which I usually am and they are a bit narrow but still comfy and I don't want to go up a size because then they will be too long.
I have been wearing them without the shoelaces no problem. They NEVER feel like they are going to come off and I have run around in them in the trees and everything.
They're expensive but totally worth it! "

Great Idea, Bad Execution
6.5.2012
" Like other reviewers have said, the stud/preppy combo was pretty spectacular. HOWEVER, please beware that these shoes are almost impossible to wear without the laces they come with because there is no elastic holding the tongue of the shoe down. That is, unless you ACTUALLY want a flip flop masquerading as a boat shoe. Putting the laces on the shoes covers the studs, defeating the purpose of buying these shoes in the first place. Very dissapointed in FP for styling a product in a particular way (as a FUNCTIONAL slip-on shoe) without fully describing the product (nowhere does it mention that it is NOT a slip-on). I felt a bit mislead and after almost faceplanting when the shoe flopped off, I had no choice but return them. "

" These are a cute comfy boat shoe and I purchased because I liked the stud detail. The only problem is that you don't want to wear the laces that come with the shoes because it covers up all the detail that I bought the shoe for. I tried tying them in different creative ways but couldn't find anything that really worked. I have a slightly wide foot and these fit great in my normal size, but without any sort of tie they felt like they were just falling off my foot when I walked around. The color is great and mine was true to the picture color with the distressed look. If they fit like my laceless chucks (with some sort of hidden elastic or something to keep the shoe on without covering up the stud detail) I definitely would've kept them. "

LOVE

" amazing way to incorporate some edgy studs into the preppy boat shoe trend.
I'm usually a 9 or 9.5, but the 9's were way too big. Gave them to my sister who is a 9.5-10 & ordered the 8.5's for myself, so hopefully they work this time.
Also hoping they break in as I wear them - the sole is nice & supportive & I hope the leather will mold to my feet as I wear them. "

" These are super cute. I wear between a 7.5-8 and by looking at reviews for other Bed Stu shoes I was afraid they would be too small (I bought the 8) but they are perfect. They come with laces which I took out - they look tacky. My only compliant is that in the pic they are faded black. Mine are a faded light gray color, almost bleached out. I am going to try to add some black to mine, we will see how they come out. The color can't get any worse... "
