"I love this "Swing High" skirt. I love the handkerchief hem, my favorite hemline.I bought it in Black, size L. Fit is tts, the linen blend fabric is a nice change and works well when layering this in the cold weather. Leggings and a Tee and you got a cool easy look with out a lot of trouble. This is a real go-to skirt for the Gypsy at heart ;)"

elastic waistband is bunchy and unflattering
"The color of this skirt is very nice, a slate stone neutral with undertones of rose/lavender/mauve. The cotton is a nice heavy weight that you can really feel hanging off you, and it twirls lovely when you spin. It's simple and universal, and a good staple skirt.
However, the elastic waistband is very under-designed/under-developed. In order to get those folds of extra material in the skirt the waistband is all bunched and not thought out at all. It's very unflattering if you want to put a fitting shirt over it, there is a lot of extra material around the waist. You can see it in the photos, and it's even worse in real life when the stylist hasn't smoothed it down on the model for the pic. Also this skirt is very hip-y, so if you are a very thin or straight hipped lady this skirt will give you the appearance of curves. If you are hip-y and looking for a slimming style, this skirt is not for you."
"simple - sweet - unembellished - just what i wanted ... a spring/summer basic that arrived exactly as pictured ... got both colorways (seem to do that A LOT) & the black is about 1/2 inch larger in the waist than the stone (an oddity that occurs about 50% of the time with everything from tanks to cords - hmmm) ... i am 5'6" @ 125ish so both are fine since there is the elastic waist - lightweight & charming & can definitely be layered with other 'sharkbite' hem skirts i have from FP in seasons past ... enjoy ... off to do more 'repetition compulsion' shopping on FP ... squeee !"
