very pretty..looks just like the studioshots

"Like the previous reviewer says, this is a very beautiful jacket. looks as pretty as in the studioshots In my case, being quite teeny, the XS fits me perfectly...which might mean it runs a little small on someone not that teeny. Personally i decided to return this and keep my siisii military style jacket. Reason being that the leather is so scrumptious on the siisii..and that jacket is superwell made, in Japan. This jacket is made in China, like the other April May Jacket, and i found the leather in my jacket of not so great feel. But it could of course just have been my jacket."

Beautiful jacket, runs small
5.26.2013
"This is a stunning jacket, beautifully made and looking as good as the catalogue shot, though it does not really have quite that burnished look it gets from the lighting there. The embroidery is just as nice as it appears in the photos, and makes it something special (as this is the most expensive item of clothing I have ever bought aside from my wedding dress, it has to be!). The distressing is attractively done, not too much, adds rather than detracts, and the leather is good quality, soft but structured. It does zip up at the front, underneath the embroidered lapel, which I found hard to see from the photos. It's from a French label and so runs typically small. I am usually M or L in FP, UK size 12/14/16 depending on the item. I got the L which is only just big enough across the chest and the upper arms are quite snug, more like an M really. I will not be able to wear anything at all bulky underneath, but that's ok, I probably wouldn't want to. I would recommend sizing up from your normal size, this jacket will not swamp you and you will be more comfortable. It's an investment piece and I am justifying the high cost to myself with the knowledge that I will wear it for many years to come!"
