"These shorts are gorgeous and the colour combination/material is wonderful.
HOWEVER, as the other reviewers have pointed out, these run EXTREMLY small. I am usually an XS in Free People Shorts (even those tend to be too lose), and the Medium fit me perfectly (hips 30 in, waist 23 in for reference). So don't be afraid to size up!"

"I sized up based on the other reviews and they were a tad big. They are crochet so it will stretch. You just have to loosen the string by hand all the way around or you won't be able to get in them. They are very short but also very sexy."

"so glad i read the other review...i am most often, kinda always a size XS and in these M seems to fit. So size up at least one, perhaps two sizes. I am not too happy with them because they are unlined and i think they will not keep the shape very well so these are going back. They get stars for the color and cuteness:)"

"I usually wear an xs in free people so ordered my normal size. I'm 5'10" and 115lbs...I usually wear free people jeans size 25 and shorts size 24 for reference. These arrived today and I couldn't even get them half way up my thighs. They look like they would fit a 9 year old....maybe. I returned them to the local store and all the girls laughed and thought maybe I accidentally ordered a children's item. They even called a girl out of the back to come look. I don't know how they are going to sell those shorts to anyone. There is no give and to stretch. Hopefully mine were just a crazy mistake. Color and style are cute so still gets 2 stars."
