"I purchased the IVORY. I debated but, decided to start with an equal color that would go with most clothing ~ It's VERY soft material, wonderful on skin ,I bought the XS and found it a bit to BIG on me. I suppose it is because it S T RE TC H E S, right ? That is a SMALL, bother to me. ( I have to keep pulling it up or, down depending on what I am wearing. For the price, it is definitely worth the purchase !"

"Being that several FP items come sheer, this is a helpful piece of clothing to own! I'm 5'5", 109 lbs. and the S fits nicely. I haven't worn it out yet, but have tried it on and moved around in it around the house and it didn't seem to be in danger of riding up. It does seem maybe slightly long - I have a few sheer dresses that would be too short for this without it hanging out the bottom, but you can always scrunch it up a bit. Comfortable and a great price - and I love that it comes in several colors - it allows you to get several looks with one sheer outer piece!"

"While I haven't had the chance to wear it out and about yet, I did try this on the moment I got it. Out of the package it looked quite small, but once I had it on all was fine! I am about 5'7", weigh anywhere from 140-150 (depending on the day, but I don't look it, just what some call "thick" or "athletic"), with a small chest but good sized rear, and did not have a riding up problem while prancing (yes, prancing, I was that happy) around my bedroom. I ordere the M/L (in black), so I think the riding up problem can be avoided by ordering the right size. Keep in mind, the material is not thin... which is what I wanted, to provide coverage under sheer items. My only problem is deciding which color to order next!"

"I only gave this slip a one star rating because it does not do what it is intended to do which is serve the purpose of a slip. How can it be called a slip when all it wants to do is act like a camisole? The material is nice but it's not nice for it's function. I literally took around 30 steps and it was up over my booty and all bunched up around my waist. I had to run into a department store and buy some boy short underwear just for it to have something to hang onto and stay in place. BOO to that! That's not cool! I thought it wouldn't do that because of the nice length. I was wrong. It was just more fabric to bunch up around my tummy."

"Hey Guys, I love this slip - I'm a size 8 and the size XS/S fits me perfect and isn't too short it sits about 2 inches above my knee if I pull it right down - only bad thing I have to say is because its such a soft silky fabric when you sit down it rides up so when you stand up be prepared to sneakily pull it back down :D I got the Ivory coloured and I love it!"

"I love this slip! I got the lavender color to wear under a black sheer slip dress and it looks awesome! The material is so soft and comfortable and it fits very well, also not sheer at all. Its a little long on me when pulled down all the way, but I just kinda scrunch it up and its the perfect length. I didn't find it to ride up much. I find myself constantly reaching to adjust it because I'm paranoid, but never have to. I have pretty curvy hips, so maybe that helps it stay down?"

"Ok, these are a great idea, and a big thanks to Free People for designing an inexpensive slip to throw on underneath their many sheer dresses. I mean, once you spend 200 dollars on a dress you don't want to spend another 100 on a slip, am I right?
Love it. Except I just wore mine for the first time, and it wouldn't stay down. It rode up, up, up to my butt as I walked. Couldn't get through the grocery store without a dozen or more "adjustments". Whoops. I mean, I expect a little riding up, but this was literally illegal parts hanging out.
So beware. LOL"

"at first I was just looking for something to wear under the tunic I was trying on in the store. I ended up loving it so much that I bought not one, but two and will definitely order the black online. it just smoothes everything under your outfit and is perfect to wear under looser dresses and tunics to wear with leggings. its like spanx but easier to survive the day in. must have."

"I waited a while before writing this review because I wanted to wear this perfect slip to see if I like it. I have never found a slip that works for me until this one. I ordered an X-Sm, my usual size, in ivory, and the fit is tts. This slip is so soft and feels like heaven against the skin. As one reviewer mentioned, it does ride up a bit but it's not that big of a problem. I'll probably be ordering a few more in different colors to go with all those gorgeous Summer dresses that FP is listing! I highly recommend this versatile little number that can also be worn as a dress or top!"

"I bought this slip to go under a lace dress I bought over the summer and it works perfectly! I bought it in the "toast" color so the darker brown really accents the cream color of my lace dress. I did notice that it rides up a bit when I wear it without tights, but this is easily fixed by some casual finger pinches! Can even be worn as a dress itself if in a darker color (with a bulky sweater of course!)"

"Great staple to have in your wardrobe! The color I got (lemon) is more like a nude, so it goes with virtually anything. Don't think I'd wear it alone as a dress, at least in this color, but it is the perfecct slip. It is smooth, soft, and very figure-flattering. Will probably get it in another color later on!"

"I am so happy that this is actually long enough to add length under things that are a little too short. Am 5'9" not hugely tall but have always struggled to find dresses and slips I feel aren't uncomfortably short. Am a 12 generally, was worried the M/L would be too tight, its fine. Also fit my friend who's an 8 really well. Haven't had any problems with the slip riding up, but I haven't worn it with bare legs yet."

"I bought this slip to be able to fit into as a camisole as my belly grows throughout my pregnancy. It is perfect for this use! It is a great length, soft and comfortable, and I've gotten lots of compliments. After the baby is born and I'm back to my pre-pregnancy size, I'll just use it as the slip it's meant to be:) I will be buying more of these in other colors! I got the cactus flower and the color is just as pictured."

"This is a great slip, and is a must have basic. I love how the straps are adjustable. I am very short (only 4' 10") so it almost goes down to my knees, which is a bit longer than I'd like, however I can easily just scrunch it up a bit and it still looks completely fine, and is shorter. It is pretty tight, but that's okay for me because it's what I wanted. I wouldn't say it runs small, it just is meant to fit tight. Overall, I really like it. Not sure if I'd buy it in different colors, but it is nice."
