"Truthfully when I open the box and saw these shoes I knew it was the beginning of a love affair! I got them for my birthday and they arrived at the beginning of my birthday celebration (I celebrated all weekend lol) so I put them on for the night's festivities! I didn't experience any discomfort. I took them with me to a conference and I wore them all day (walking from session to session and city walking to lunch) and I began to feel some discomfort with the ankle straps and when I took them off that night I could tell where the strap had irritated my skin. That being said I still love the shoes. The are beautifully made to me. I get so many compliments. I have worn them for two weeks straight almost! Thanks Free People for getting them to me so fast. They go with everything I own (maxi dresses & skirts, mini dresses, wrap dresses, skinny jeans, & tunis!) I would recommend."

"These are my new favorite shoes. There's not the most comfortable, but they're not miserable, and nothing a good cushy insert didn't fix. I bought the black ones.....the inlay color is much more tan than it appears in the photo (I thought it was a white inlay) but I love them even better now!"

"Tried these on after working 12 hrs. they were surprisingly comfortable. After all the reviews I was expecting serious pain. I guess compared to my other 6 in wedges and heels they are not that uncomfortable. i just wore them around the house so far so good.. Looks wise these shoes are going to be a favorite of mine. I purchased the cream because I have so many black shoes but I think I may just get the black pair too."

"I bought these in the camel/cream lace, and waited over a month for them because they were backordered. Let me tell you, they were so worth the wait! They are the new loves of my life. I'll tell you honestly, not the most comfortable things in the world, and this coming from a 5" platform pro, but pain is beauty ladies!"

Beautiful unique wedges

"I love these things. I bought them in black. The crochet overlay creates a beautiful textured effect but I don't know how well it will wear in the long-run. I won't comment on comfort - these are not sensible shoes! But I will say that the platform at the front makes the 5 1/2 inch heel a lot more user-friendly. Just don't run for any buses."
