"the cut-out details at the bust, along with the back are the best parts of the dress. i also really like the empire waist and the colors. i sized up, and good thing i did as the bust fits quite tight. i'm short (5'3") and it's dragging-on-the floor-like-a-train long in the back. this is a very different dress and the design is great."

A Statement Dress

"I purchased this dress online in a small to wear to an upcoming wedding. For reference I am 125lbs and an 34A. I was a bit apprehensive buying this dress without trying it on first, and awaited delivery with fingers crossed. My fears were put to rest when it fit like a glove in the bust and back. The dress is a bit longer on me than the model but nothing of concern. I would say that this dress is made for a smaller bust. I am flat as a board and the bust is small and doesn't cover a ton even on me! Although the bust has a nice lined feel, there is zero support. Def no way a bra would work with this dress. I completely understand why those reviewers with a larger bust planned to return this dress because anything larger than a B cup would, in my opinion, look obscene. The sand color is actually lovelier in person and looks richer and less faded out than online. The body of the dress is slightly sheer however it is not bad because it is lined. A mini skirt slip underneath would resolve any issue of sheerness. I did have a bit of difficulty getting the dress on because of the empire band strap, but it turned out a good thing, because once on you are held firmly in place. Overall I am pleased and excited to wear this."

Love this dress

"I bought this dress for a wedding and it was perfect. I usually wear an XS/0 in Free People and the XS fit perfectly. It was a little long on the sides but not long enough that it was bothersome/prevented me from walking. The back and chest areas are my favorite thing about this dress. I'm an A cup so it was very flattering on me and looked fine without a bra. I received tons of compliments! Overall, I'm really pleased with my purchase and can't wait to wear it again!"

Not flattering in the chest area...

"I've been looking for a maxi dress for a while now & when I saw this dress I immediately knew I had to have it. The design & pictures looked amazing! I ordered it online & received it super fast in the mail (thank you Free People!). Was super excited to try it on but unfortunately the fit in the chest area was not flattering at all. Actually I would call it obscene lol. My breasts were literally popping out. Also the material in the chest area offers no support. Because of this, I would not recommend this dress to anyone larger than a B cup. Apart from that, since I'm petite the dress was super long on me so I would have had to hem it considerably to get it to look like it looks on the model. Sadly, had to return it =/"

"Im petite for the most part I always wear the 0-2/xs at FP: im 5'4 115lbs and my waist is my best asset: This dress fits beautifully all over. I'm in love its a perfect mix of sexy temptress and whimsical fairy haha... But I wear a 32D and I'm afraid that this dress just isn't going to cut it. I'm spill'n out of the sides if you know what I mean. I'll ask my sisters what they think before I return it (they are always honest with me) If I weren't so busty then it would for sure be a keeper!"
