"I can't help but think of Shakespeare when I see this dress on. I bought it for a shoot and it really did perform quite well. I however do not get a bohemian feeling from this dress at all.
I added a a soft pink slip under it which really helped fill in the color, while leaving plenty of fabric for light to flow through. The fit is nice and not as funky on top as people are saying. I will keep it in my wardrobe for future shoots. Model, Sarah fell in love with it and chose it twice to wear for her shoot. Who knows it may end up being a favorite with the girls.

"i was able to try this in my regular size and one size smaller. i usually like my clothes to fit loose, but in this case, i opted for the smaller size which i find fits better on top with less bunching. other than that, the two sizes fit very similar. i'm 5'3" so it's a little long, about 2-3 inches on the ground. the difference in colors is a lot more noticeable, especially on top, but i actually like the contrast. it's definitely a very pretty, ethereal piece, which i probably can't wear very often, but i want it anyways coz it's pretty."

"This slip is very ethereal and romantic. Very stretchy and runs big. I got a large and should have gotten a medium, but can’t exchange since it is out of stock, so I’ll keep the large anyway. I would love to wear it as a dress, though I’m not sure where I could wear it. It’s just so pretty and unusual. I plan to wear it for portraits when the weather is nicer."

"This slip is so gorgeous. Everything I dreamed it would be and more. I have tried it on with so many things in my closet and it adds something unique to each item of clothing. I wear a medium and that is what I purchased. It fits true to size. It is longer in the back than the front, I will be wearing it under my embroidered fable dress tomorrow. So thrilled with myself for making this purchase and thrilled at Free People for making it. Beautiful!"

"I think this slip runs true to size, I am usually a small, 5'9" 115 lbs. and the small was perfect. The color of the slip is more like the picture without the model. I layered this over the velvet gown slip threw on a sweater and it looked amazing. I agree the top does have odd bunching where the the two fabrics meet, but the rest of it is so pretty it makes up for it!"

"This slip has it all: romance, movement, and flulff. The color is true to the pictures, if not a little bit deeper in real life. I love the patches of chiffon on the bottom of this slip because it makes it flutter when you walk. I bought a large, my usual size and it fit just as pictured on my 5'9" frame. I layered this with the Move West Maxi dress in grey underneath and put the FP-1 Eyelet crop top over the slip. The look was unique, boho, and very fun.. If this slip is a preview of what is to come I cannot wait!"

"This slip is beautiful is an understatement. The dusty rose color paired with the tan/beige look incredible. It's shape, feel, flow are all amazing. It's so feminine and can be worn alone or with a sweater. It is a little big on top and I'm still debating exchanging for a small so you may want to size down. Also as another reviewer said, there is a strange bunchiness in the bodice. But ultimately I decided this doesn't detract from this piece and I could always tack it if need be. Overall an awesome addition to my closet."

"I have to disagree with the first review, this slip is gorgeous! The color is just as pictured, a bit of a dingy ballet slip look to it. Soft, beautiful textures and the ruching is flawless to me. I think this is a great piece to add to my collection, I know that I will receive compliments and oohs and ahs! LOVE IT!"

"Pink...Tulle...Maxi...my three favorite words. This slip sort of under delivers. The pink is a nice muted color but it is paired with a very dull beige that does nothing to enhance the pink or my complexion. The smocked bodice has a weird fit to it and it puckers and droops in strange places, like right between your boobs and under the arms. The hem is accented wit the dull beige material that makes the whole thing look a bit dirty. Overall the fit is fine. It's not bulky or poofy (except for the weird gaping at the bodice) and the length on a size Small just skims the floor (5'7") so no need to hem, cut or wear super high shoes. Debating keeping or returning. It's not a stand alone piece in my closet, but maybe under a light floral for some contrast...?"
