"I bought this dress in White in the free people store in NJ and fell in love! It fits perfectly and all the beading pays such close attention to detail. It is a little lowcut, but I think it looks flattering. Also, the fabric is super soft. My new favorite summer dress!"

"When I first saw this dress at bloomingdales I had to have it. I went on the free people site and saw that the size I needed in white was sold out. After going to several bloomingdales I finally found the dress in the size and color I needed! I am so in love with it and receive so many compliments. It's comfortable and light- perfect for summer. The only problem is that I'm a 32A so a lot of my bra shows because it is quite low cut. Other than that it's a winner!"

"i got this dress is white (size small) in a fp store in CT.
the colors are very very pretty and its by far my favorite dress in my closet.
it is a little short (i'm 5'4) but deff not too revealing.
it is also somewhat see-through, but nude underwear works.
also, for me (34A) it is really low cut and a lot of my bra shows (the straps are kind of big)"

"Since the white is sold out on the website, I was thrilled when I saw it in many sizes at Bloomingdales.
I tried on the XS and fell in love!!
I really like the crossed straps, because I'm a little on the smaller side, and I usually have problems with straps sliding down.
It looks adorable with my brown cowboy boots!
I have a feeling I'll be wearing this A LOT this summer!

"I bought this dress in black when it first appeared on the website. I had to get small cuz the x-small was sold out....luckily for me. It runs a little snug through top. I'm 5'3, 100 lbs, 34C and the small is perfect.

The bright colors really pop against the black.

The quality is great. The criss cross straps were a nice surprise! The beads are well secured. I won't have to re-sew them."

"I was sooo lucky to purchase this dress in black @ the boutique in Chicago someone had returned. I immediately used it that evening for a dinner at a bar/restaurant and got many complements of the dress. It very sexy, perfect for day or night. Lucky me!"

Yucatan Paisley Dress in Cream/White - 5.8.2008
"I got this dress at the Free People store in Topanga, the cream version is not shown here but it is absolutely gorgeous. I am a size 34c & I wear a size 8 in pants, I tried this on in both Large and Small, they didn't have Medium. The Large was way too big in the back, the straps where too long for me. The small is a little snug but definitely fit much better than the Large, I wish I could have tried the Medium but I am happy with the size and fit. I love this, definitely perfect for summer."

"I absolutely love this dress! Perfect for many casual occasions, I can see this being my staple dress this summer. I bought it in black and the outburst of colors make it a little more exciting than other plain black frocks. As someone with a big chest and needing to fit that part first - I found the medium fitting perfect around the bustline and the criss cross straps to be very supportive. (Will need some minor tacking but so what!) Can't wait to wear it!"

"Perfect summer dress. Comfortable, soft, yet very sexy. I purchased the one in white, love it. I don't know about previous review about the straps being different, does not make much difference. Perfect for hot summer nights. I just don't know what color shoes to wear wth it, but I'm sure I'll find something -)"

"Its a little disappointing that the item wasn't as pictured; however, I actually liked the criss-cross because the straps were so long it helped them stay on. Also, the neckline did go down too low and overall I felt it fit too big, I got an XS so there's not much room to size down any smaller. I bought the red one and didn't really like the color too much. I think I would have liked the white one more."

"It's disgusting how much I love this dress. I have it in white and do recommend wearing the pink slip that Free People sells (I think it's the Tricot and Lace Slip) under it because the dress itself is kind of sheer. Plus the slip adds an amazing layering effect. Love it!"

"Cute dress, but not as pictured! The straps are crossed in back. Also, the plunging V-line neck is too low. I ordered an XS so I don't really have the option to size down."

"I ordered the white in size small when they were first posted on the site and was soo excited for it to arrive. I am headed to Mexico soon for a vacation and this seemed like the perfect dress! I was totally bummed when it arrived! The straps in the back were not as shown, they were criss crossed. This changes the whole look of the dress and so I returned it. :( The fabric was super soft though and I loved the color but the straps were a deal breaker. I wonder if they were all like this or if I just got a defective one?"
