"I must have passed this scarf in store about a 1000x, but when I saw it online I had to have it. I'm not very patriotic and I never wear any type of flag print except on independence day b/c flag prints remind me of July 4th. This scarf will be my one exception. It's really big so it can be folded, twisted, and draped many different ways. Once you put it on you can barely tell its the American flag all you see are a blend of colors, which is alright with me! I also love the frayed ends and the fact that it isn't the typical red, white, & blue Two thumbs way up!"

"I have BOTH colors and wear both of them very often. I take a lot of pride in my scarf collection and these are exceptional additions. They are huge and allow for a fantastic dramatic drape. They both look amazing with a killer leather jacket. You can look country chic or like a bad a** rebel depending on how you dress. "This scarf is fabulous! I got the red and boy are the colors bold! It will liven up ay outfit and looks great even as room decor. The fabric is light and airy and feels like quality. The only problem I had was the colors rub off on your clothes! You will need to give it a good soak in some cool water or something before you wear it with your whites. I got it allover one of my white tees but it came out in the wash. I put the scarf in a cool water wool-light wash and I haven't had the problem since."

"This scarf is too bulky but not exactly warm. I got the grey version and was surprised to see that the stripes were going in the wrong direction. The material itself feels cheap and I feel like I definitely overpaid for it. Whatever, its too late to return it now."

It sounds like the scarf might still be folded in half if the stripes look like they are going in the wrong direction. Check to see that this isn't folded over one more time!! It's never too late to return something! Returns past 30 days will receive a merchandise credit from Free People.

"I was trying for a while to get the mint version of this, but it was sold out everywhere. When the taupe one came back in stock, I immediately ordered one. This scarf is a nice large size and the fabric is very soft. If the mint one comes back this spring/summer, I will definitely snatch one up before they're gone! :)"
