"(5'3",109lbs, 32b-24-37) - XS Black Etherial Mini Dress - Overall it is a decent dress. The manner in which it is made is not as intricate, or detail oriented, as I would have liked for the price tag. It looks similar to a dress I made myself one Saturday, in the past. A Simplicity pattern, no less. It is a couple of yards of basic fabric lace, with lace appliqué around the upper chest and neck. The fit is roomy around the abdomen. A straight line down through the waist, which widens at the hips and thighs so the fabric drapes and flows. What you can't tell by the photos is that the arms are also a loose fit. They flair out a bit wide around the hands. The shoulder measurements fit well (XS = 13" approx. seam to seam), as did the choker part of the dress, around my neck (a 3 button closure). The button loops are very, very delicate!! Be careful and make sure you take a few minutes to reinforce them in place with a needle and black thread. Or better yet, replace them with thin black satin string that can be found at a fabric or crafts store. Getting my head through the head-hole of the dress was snug, and I had to tug gently. So, make sure to do your hair and make-up AFTER the dress is on. I prefer the dress with a nude, shell or light pink, mid-thy length camisole. If it weren't a gift, I'd send it back and use the money to pay a taylor to custom make a short lace dress with a better fit around the waist, eye catching seams that play illusionary sculpting, and a few tiny black beads to catch some light. But hey, if you have the expendable cash and not the time to wait for your dress to be made, by all means... get this one."
