"When ordering this piece I had a little doubt because of the reviews saying that it's much shorter than in the main picture, advising to size up etc., and the only size left in stock was xs. Im still a bit confused and surprised, but the item I received is the same length as pictured, and I'm 5"9! It's really beautiful, loose and well made. All in all, a great purchase and I can't wait to wear it!"

"I was hesitant to buy this for so long and there was confused reviews about length, etc, but loved it so finally bought it. Here's the deal. That model must be around 5"4 and wearing a size large or extra large. Imagine a long rectangle scarf with fringes at the ends, fold it in half to make a square, and sew up about 8 inches in on both sides from the bottom till about 2/3rds of the way up(waist height). Cut and seam an oval hole in the middle, and put it over your head. This is exactly what this dress is. There's no real sleeves, just arm holes, and there is a bunch of material running down each side which don't flatter the figure or drape that nicely. It's a ridiculously simple cut making it not enough of a dress to be a good flower child piece. Definitely a beach cover up, which is what it's meant to be, but even at the sale price $70 is a lot for a cover up so I'm not sure whether I'll keep it or not. It can be worn as a dress but it's just missing some quality for it to be really awesome.
Some other specs:
I usually wear a size XS-S (am 5'2.5) Got a small, dress ends just above knees, fringe mid calf, and sleeves( if you can call them that) above elbow. If you get this size up by 2. I think the medium would fit me better because it may drape better, but my shoulders are petite so the boat neck cut would start falling off my shoulders by the L.
Material is the stretchy, white, pretty durable cloth that can get wet and dries easily. It is very obviously machine-weaved. It seems delicate because it is so lightly weaved and may snag but the actual material is durable. Doesn't need to be handwashed. Also very pure, bleached white. Does not come with a slip, nude looks nice underneath. Such a patterned weave wherever your nude undergarments/slips end blends in extremely well."

"im 5'9" 135 and i got the large because I was worried about the length from the other review, and I like some of my clothes to be big. She was right about the length being a little off by looking at the picture (the fringe stops mid calf and the dress hits above the knee). I asbsolutely love it though. It feels great and looks wonderful. Definitely an essential for any beach day."

"This is a gorgeous piece.It is however much shorter than shown.I am 5'7" and the fringe stops just below the knee,no where near the ankle.It is 12-18 inches shorter than it looks from this picture.The material drapes beautifully,but it is delicate.I gave it 4 stars because of the length, it really is 5 stars for the design and fit."
